Strange hobbies.

I'm pretty sure someone had 'going down to the river with a donkey' as an interest or hobby. I think it may have been Jimbo someone, who I think got banned. Although he might have come back under a different name. I believe a couple of other mylotters added that as their own interest too.

I never really paid much attention to hobbies here. The strangest one is "panda spanking". I don't even know what that means or why anyone would want to spank a panda as they can be very mean when the mood hits them! It must mean something different but I can't imagine what! Someday when I get some time, I'll go through my interests and clean them up like you just did. I'm busier than a one-armed paper hanger right now!

dont know how eatting and drinking got put under hobbies lolol. right now cant think of a strange hobbie that I heard of. I might need to go in and take a look at what I got under thru the years and delete. that is one thing I think they have to many sub titles for interests

It's not just the hobby section I've seen people listing tigers and dolphins under the pets interest I'm sure there are al lot of other strange listings as well.

I think that having "life" and "religion" as hobbies is just ridiculous. I wish someone could go in and remove the double up interests and rearrange all the others so they are in the right place. The interest categories themselves leave a lot to be desired.

You must be careful when choosing your interest. ;-) It's my advice.

I think the reason they are under these Subjects is because People start new Interests but they just do not know where to put them at times I have to be honest a couple of times in the last 4 years I could not find where I wanted the Interest so I took the closest to it

As someone already said, 'life' is strange hobby or 'have done' thing. Generally I give in to constant nagging, but this one is so strange I always say "no thank you"...

I don't even look at that stuff. I just add them so that I won't have to put up with being asked to add them yet again. But I went and had a look, and one of the most recent "hobbies" that I added was "killing bugs". Hm, I think not...

I looked but couldn't find hobbies listed in my profile page. I also couldn't figure out how to delete interest. I will continue to see what I can find about these things. Thanks

You're right, I've found some strange hobbys listed in MyLot too. I think they may just have been misplaced as an interest. Hehe.

Hello Pola, I have heard about some really strange hobby. I don't know how people develop those habits, but they really do amaze me. I've heard about someone who had a hobby of collecting shiny things. Now a shiny stuff can be anything, from a bottle to a batch anything that is shiny, she considered it cute and kept it. I really wanted to meet this lady in person, but never actually had the chance. I have a hobby of crippling my computer by altering or damaging internal parts. I experiment with it a lot. I would make some changes in my system registry and see the result. Sometimes I make a toy virus and ruin the operating system with it. But the main thing that I love about it is the troubleshooting and repair. One of my friends had a very peculiar hobby of collecting girls phone numbers. Even if he is not gonna call her, or, talk to her, he is always ready to keep it in his phonebook. I would rather call this an obsession. Still sounds creepy. There are so many weird hobbies I see every week. Its really hard to remember them all now. But guess this discussion is going to be a really long one. Take care God bless you

i think the strangest hobby I have ever seen is whenever my friend lacked of sleep, she usually cries the whole day long without her knowing why.. and that was her hobby,, because she don't actually sleep more than 6 hours now..
