Kira... Your god or not?

Hello everyone. I'm a huge Death Note fan and I think i can safely say that it is my favorite anime but I have an interesting question for all of you that my sister really planted into my head. If Kira was real and scaring the world we live in as he did in the show how many of you would support his cause? Let the great ethical debate begin!

I wouldn't support him. He's a jerk and a psycho. He wanted to kill lazy people later or something like that. That's something really really bad. He's evil.

Honestly in my opinion the guy was nuts. Sure getting rid of all the criminals was a good thing but he killed off/gotten friends of his killed like his ex girlfriend and his father and was it really necessary to kill the police and FBI as well.
