Do you like cherries?

i like cherries of course, its the first thing i eat when i eat cakes (cuz they top cakes with cherries sometimes). but i have never eated fresh picked cherries i only tasted preserved cherries and cherry flavored food

Well I'm the exact opposite to you. I can eat fresh cherries in the summer but I hate the taste of artificial flavourings so would never eat cherry flavoured desserts.

I've always liked cherries. I don't think I've ever ate fresh ones that were just picked but I would think they would taste the same as the ones in jar or pies. More power to you. As for me, it's the other way around - love the fruit, hate the flavor. It's all medicine's fault for me hating because the taste of it reminds me of cough syrup. I can't stand cherry-flavored candies, drinks or gum. The only product I don't mind is cherry-flavored chapstick. Maybe it's the texture you don't like. Maybe you'll like cherry preserves.

i kinda like them but also don't. its taste great and when its in desert it also tasted good and look cute. But cherry by themself has a huge seed in it that i just don't really like.

I think you have put your finger on a very important issue! The fact that we are more used to and prefer artificial flavours, so when we get the taste of a "real" flavour we don't like it. It simply don't taste the way we are used to.. I think it is a shame!
