I watch the Weather Channel, you can say I am a fan of the Weather Channel. I am watching it now and it says that we have a 90% chance of precipation tonight which is a mixture of rain and snow. We just went through the February Fury that was sweeping through the states this week. I live in the south and we don't see that much snow. The temperature now is 51 degrees. The sun is shining very bright. All the February Fury's snow has melted. With the temp 51 and the sun is shining it has to do a drastic change for snow to come in tonight.
Do you watch the Local on the 8? What is your weather forecast for the next few days?

Maybe I'm simple minded, but I like the music they play on the Weather Channel. It relaxes me and helps me fall asleep.

Yesterday it got to 57 degrees here in Oklahoma. This morning I woke up and the ground was covered in snow. Nothing about our weather makes sense to me. We have a few snow flurries in our local future, but at least it isn't like the blizzard we had over Christmas. Or even the storm that gave us 8 inches of snow late last month.

I NEVER look at the weather channel. I don't even know what channel it is on. I hear enough about this nasty, cold weather we are having just on the local news & from everybody i talk to, or just looking out my window, lol. Hope neither was of gets bad weather tonight. Happy valentine's.

Hi Chevee! Where I live in NY and my particular local channel
in Yonkers, NY is Channel 61 or 12! We are supposed to be
possibly getting some more snow, but not as much as this last
week, thank goodness tomorrow night or Tuesday! It is still
slightly above freezing right now, 35 degrees so hopefully maybe
we won't get the snow or at least not too much! I always watch
my weather channel when I am getting ready to go out so I know
how to dress! It has been pretty cold here! Yesterday when I
went out it was 26 degrees and it was windy which made it feel
like 16! Not a fun place to be this time of year!

When I had cable I did watch local on the 8. When they started in on the digital stuff even basic cable went up so much we dropped it. We have a converter box and get a few things. I get Weather Channel on the computer when I want it. It is cold here today, and tomorrow, but it is also dry. Our temps are actually 30-31 but we have awful wind chill factor, and most of the state is under a wind advisory. I do have a channel that is weather only, but it is not Weather Channel.Friday and Saturday we got up near fifty, I think. The shady spots still have a bit of snow on them. We are not due any precipitation very soon, though. When everyone else was so overwhelmed, we just had about normal snow fall. It was plenty. I paid someone to shovel, because of my foot. Every time hubby shovels he hurts his back and misses work, it is cheaper to have someone shovel for us.

Yes I sure do! I'm a big fan of the weather channel especially when I missed the latest news and want to know what the weather is going to be like the next day. Here in North Carolina, it's 44 degrees right now and we're to get some more snow too starting tomorrow morning sometime but only an inch is called for. Then it's supposed to get up to get up to around 40 degrees so the snow won't stick for long if it does at all. I was just petting Oreo's sweetheart cat that I have and her fur was just flying off of her and I was telling her that Spring is just around the corner obviously because she's losing her winter coat. lol Silly me, I always talk to my fur babies. It's the only way they know what kind of mood I'm in and they just eat it up.

Hi Chevee. You know, I might just be moving down your way... very soon! I added up the snowfall we've already had and it's around 91 inches of snow, total, for the season.
They're calling for another 3 to 5 inches tomorrow! I'm about to lose my mind with all this snow! We're just not used to so much. Normally, it's MAYBE 12 inches for the entire season. The two years before this, we got no more than 4 inches for each season but this year has more than made up for it!
I'm hoping that we're using up our snow allotment for the next 10 years.
Saturday night, a car got stuck in our driveway. They were trying to visit a neighbor of ours who lives on our private road but closer to the county road. They had passed that house by accident and realized it just before they got to our house so they tried turning around in our driveway, but got very stuck. My husband went out to see if he could help them and they told him they were waiting for their friends with a tractor to pull them out.
Well, the tractor got them out of our driveway but got stuck themselves before they had even passed our property. So, they took the tractor back and came back with a tow truck. That worked, I'm happy to say!
There has also been a small car parked beside our pavilion since last Wednesday, when we had that blizzard that left 32 inches of snow on the ground. It's still parked there because they can't get up the hill on the far end of our property. I doubt they try to move it again until the roads are clear but I'm thinking now that our road won't be clear until well after Spring has started.
I've had enough!

We watch it also, it's to clear tomorrow and rain the next day. It's handy to be able to get the weather all the time. The weather is very hard to predict here we are in the shelter of the foothills and it can change very fast.
