i need major help i am a proud owner (xP) of a htc tattoo cellphone and i have a realy major problem so please please help me. so i connect to an open wifi connection near a cafe and it connect with a fair connection 56 mbps but i still cannot use any of internet associated apps on my htc tattoo. please please please help cuz the whole point of this cell is to stay connected with everyone

Just because you connect to a "free" connection doesn't mean you can connect to the internet. You probably tapped into someone else's router which has a down connection. If you were near a cafe you often have to open your browser or use a code they give you to connect to the internet. In which case you have to pay for internet time in order to get that code. Its to keep people from mooching off any intenet connection they want.

emmm no it is not an internet cafe i guess you understood it wrong we dont pay internet by how much you use it but how fast you have eg. 1mbps/256kbps =15 eu per month. so i was definetly connected but nothing would work. and for codes people has wep and wep2 pass for routers but some dont and theese are easily hacked thru iphone wich i don't own :P
