This week Arsenal FC play FC Porto in Portugal as the knock out stage of the European Champions League begins. What should we expect from Arsenal boys: a loss, a draw or a win? I feel many fans of the gunners will be very cautious before predicting a win for Arsenal in the game. The reason is clear, the recent run of losses by the gunners has dampened tbe hope of the fans and many are not so sure if the team is going to win any trophy this season. Well, I want to give Arsenal the benefit of the doubt and therefore concluded that anything is possible. I don't want the team to lose to Porto but if that happens to be the outcome of the game, I'll take it in good faith. However, based on the current form of the team, it seems the best the fans can realistically hope for in the game against FC Porto is a draw. I wish Arsenal the very best of luckk.

Though the gunners are having a rough time in the BArclays League yet their coach Arsene Wenger should be complemented for reposing faith on his young talented players.Though Porto possess a very good track record yet it should not be forgotten that the raw talent of Arsene Wenger's boys can turn the tables on any team.Porto is playing a home match and so they will be having an added advantage. However,Arsenal is no pushovers and I believe that they won't play for a draw but go for the kill.If they can register a win it will greatly enhance their chances of moving to the next round and thereby give their fans something to cheer about.

I agree with you. It's going to be a tough match because FC Porto wants to revenge the past defeats the team suffered at the hand of the gunners. The more important reason the Spanish team would play to win is the dividend of qualifying for the quarter final stage of the competition. However, I hope Arsenal players will put behind them the memory of their recent poor run in the premiership. I feel it's going to be a balanced game and FC Porto will be under more pressure than Arsenal FC. For this game my wish is that Arsenal win.

Now without Arshavin who has ruled himself out of the match due to injury it becomes all the more difficult for Arsenal to register win on foreign soil.So it will be worthwhile to watch the tactics undertaken by Arsene Wenger.I believe that Arsenal will play ultra defensive football. They will mainly rely on counter attacks and the team will be looking for the striking qualities of their midfielders to take advantage of defensive lapses of Porto.Arsenal most probably will opt for the 4-1-4-1 formation with Four defenders,1 defensive midfielder,4 midfielders and 1 striker and will try to hit Porto on counter attacks. If the defence withholds the pressure from the opponent attack and do not conceive any goals then there is every chance that Arsenal will come off with flying colours.
