I don't text a great deal and I don't get alot in return. I own a Tracfone so if I'd text alot I would have to buy a phone card for often! Anyway I like doing when I do and I know I'll gert even better in the future.

That's real good for you. I'm very good at texting. I remember when I started I was so slow, now I'm fast if not faster then I type. Though your comment reminded me to ask my friend if she noticed me having to bounce back and forth between two phones. Good luck with the texting though.

Some days I can text pretty well. Other days I keep making mistakes and have to start over! Sometimes more then once! At least I'm alot better then I used to be! When I first started doing it I was constantly making mistakes and starting over! I thought I'd never get the hang of it!

Although I don't know the first thing about texting I do remember when I first got a pc and thought I'd never learn to type. But I spent enough hours on the chat boards talking that I finally got the hang of it. I'm not a speed typist by any means but I do allright and the more I do it, the better I get.

I took typing in school as well and I really sucked at it. I couldn't type 2 words without screwing it up. I finally quit the class and never thought I'd learn. I don't ever think I'll be a professional typist but I do allright for online stuff.

I took typing in high school so I knew how to type on a pc when I started on one. Texting is harder because I don't have a key board like alot of people do. So it takes longer to text but I don't mind. I'm getting better all the time.

Hi, blue65packer. I am not one to know exactly how to text either. But what I do know is that I can eventually learn how to text. I know a girl that I chill with sometimes, that loves texting. It is all that she does.. She says that she likes it better than calling someone on the phone. She has the unlimited plan that will allow her to text constantly. It is like she is addicted to it. Even if I ever learn how to text, I would rather just call someone. I like to hear their voice and it makes the phone conversation go by faster.

I rather text then talk when I can. I never have been a big person on talking on the phone. I was a shy kid and hated talking on the phone! I'm not shy anymore but I still don't like talking on the phone!

Congratulations, now from here it will only get easier. I personally love texting. I only text with one person, but i find when you are talking to them on the phone the conversation can dry up quickly, but with texting, you can just say some random thing and the conversation keeps on going. Also, since you dont have to hear the persons reaction, i find i say more things through texts than i would over the phone.
It is also a great way to stay in contact with long distance friends. Instead of paying for long distance.

I mostly text to one person. I like texting with this person instead of calling. Sometimes when I call I end up having to leave a message or when I do call she rambles on and on! With texting she says what she needs to and doesn't go on and on!

Its good to know that you are fond of texting just like me. It's a good way to keep in touch with friends and loved ones coz your message will be received earlier than when you are sending a letter thru airmail. Personally i prefer texting mainly because it saves my prepaid load unlike if i will call. But of course i call when its really urgent. Another thing is i can express more freely thru texting rather than voice calls. Once you are familiar with the keypad of celfone, you can text even without looking at it just like me. Enjoy texting!

I don't think I'll ever get so good I can do it without seeing the keyboard! I have heard of other people doing it but I don't think it'll be for me!

Just as the saying "practice makes it perfect", you will eventually get used to it and later on you will be able to text without looking at your keypad. Have a nice day!

Hi blue,
I am getting the hang of it too. I have a trak phone so it is much cheaper to text than to call. I don't use my trak phone much but my daughter knows to text me rather than call if at all possible. It is perfect for when I'm at work because if I am with a customer, she is not interrupting me but I am still able to communicate with her.

I love texting. I do it all day! It's much simpler and it saves money on my phone bill. Plus, I do it at school so I can know what's going on with my dad and boyfriend even though I'm not allowed to text at school. If I get caught I will get my phone taken from me. Which is really stupid in my opinion. I can even text without looking now! Which makes it much easier to hide it! lol

I don't like hearing stories of people texting while in school! I think that is a distraction and should be outlawed! Anyway I never have heard of anyone texting without looking. I don't think I'll get that good!
