California Police Detective suggests shooting people who open-carry

Police Detective Rod Tuason posted the remarks on Facebook while mocking people who open-carry in California. Apparently California has some stupid law that allows open-carry of "unloaded" firearms. Frankly that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard of, but I digress. On Facebook he posted the following: "Sounds like you had someone practicing their 2nd amendment rights last night!" Tuason wrote. "Should've pulled the AR out and prone them all out! And if one of them makes a furtive movement … 2 weeks off!!!" -- referring to the modified duty, commonly known as desk duty, that typically follows any instance in which an officer is investigated for firing his weapon. I think it's disgusting that someone like this could even be a police officer, much less a detective. He should be fired ASAP if you ask me and have a permanent mark in his record should he seek employment elsewhere as a police detective. His job is to protect law abiding citizens, not shoot them.
