California Police Detective suggests shooting people who open-carry

Police Detective Rod Tuason posted the remarks on Facebook while mocking people who open-carry in California. Apparently California has some stupid law that allows open-carry of "unloaded" firearms. Frankly that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard of, but I digress.
On Facebook he posted the following:
"Sounds like you had someone practicing their 2nd amendment rights last night!" Tuason wrote. "Should've pulled the AR out and prone them all out! And if one of them makes a furtive movement … 2 weeks off!!!" -- referring to the modified duty, commonly known as desk duty, that typically follows any instance in which an officer is investigated for firing his weapon.
I think it's disgusting that someone like this could even be a police officer, much less a detective. He should be fired ASAP if you ask me and have a permanent mark in his record should he seek employment elsewhere as a police detective. His job is to protect law abiding citizens, not shoot them.

Interesting. Sickening actually. I wonder if he realizes that in doing so he would not only be subject to prosecution but would in all likely hood in some areas be justifiably shot himself by an open carrier. There is case precident after case precident of the use of justifiable deadly force in defense of illegal police actions.
