How do you discipline yourself when infront of computer

I know most of us use social networking such as facebook(which is so addicting). How do you then control your self infront of computer order to finish your tasks ?

i think facebook addition is one thing and task completion is the another. if you have an important task to complete then do the task first for which you have to make the computing a boring place for you as only then you have enough self power to hold for the other task .

As much as I can I tell myself to do this/that now because it helps me in the end. If Id stay inactive then my life will have no progress. if I feel that i cant go on further, I take a deep breath and go further. if i get derailed with my tasks i have to rest for a while because my tiredness stop me. aside from this i listen to music while working so that im better motivated.
