I am trying to apply for extra through elance. Has anyone experienced this website as a provider? Does it really work and if it does are there tricks to become hired? If you know any site similar to elance, hope you can share it with me. Thank you.

I know elance. But their upgraded membership rate is too high for individuals. You should rather try getafreelancer.com instead. I am doing good here. Join from my profile. I can help you with tips/tricks to get projects there.
