Do you study online?

This year I started studying online. At first I had chosen Danish, philosophy and religion, but I have decided to give up Danish, and sign up for psycholgy, English and German instead. I don't know if I am able to study those subjects, I am still waiting to hear from the teachers. If there are too many students I can't join.
I think that there are good and bad things about studying online. I love the fact that I can study anytime of the day and the fact that I can plan everything on my own. I have a lot of freedom that way, and that is great.
The bad thing is that it is sometimes difficult to study without "ordinary" classes. I miss hearing the opinions of other students and I miss discussing the topics with other people instead of studying on my own.
I had a problem with religion in the beginning. The essays etc that we had to write were very difficult, and I found it hard to answer the questions from the teacher. Then we got a new teacher and that changed the situation, because she changed the questions, she was much better at explaining things and she uploaded a lot of useful files for us.
Have ever studied online? Or are you studying online at the moment? What you do you think about it? If you have never tried it, would you like to do it or do you prefer to study at a school?

I am studying online right now. It just much easier for me, without the hassle of worrying about making it to class on time. Plus, you can log in and go to school at any time. It does not matter if it is 6 in the morning or 6 at night, the online classroom will be ready. Now, I do admit, online learning is not for everyone. There are just some people who would do better in a traditional classroom environment. Plus, there are many other people who would prefer to have a structured environment and could not manage their time well enough to get projects done by the due date. However, I personally find it a change from the hassle of classroom learning. I wonder if I would have stuck with achieving my Bachelor's degree and going for my Master's if I did not go online. I'm sure I would have gritted my teeth and done it but it would have been a lot more stress.

I have always been curious about this, but have never actually given it a go.
I have had many mixed opinions given to me about studying online. Some have said that it is great because you can study when it's suitable for you, and that you have the freedom to study whatever aspects of a subject you wish
However, others have said that online studying never worked for them because of the fact that it took away the social side of learning, and hearing the views of other students. Plus they preferred being taught by a human rather than a computer.
If you ask me, it's all up to personal opinion really.

I took a couple classes through an accredited online school when I was in high school (so I could graduate early). I liked it alot; I've always been a very independant worker/studier, so I didn't have any problem understanding the material or getting A's and B's.
However, when you compare online classes to traditional classes, the classroom wins hands down. I definitely think online classes are not for everyone.
