Will India make it to at Eden?

Well, after India were shattered at Nagpur Test now at Eden Garden they are showing their no 1 slot by restricting RSA for 296 and today at stumps they are leading first innings by 46 runs.
Badrinath went cheaply and there rises question as to why not the selectors included Raina? Tommorow is another day and do you think India would make 150 runs lead or more and would India be able to equal the series and retain the number 1 slot?
My speculation is if Laxman and Mishra stand for an hour at least Dhoni and the rest could contribute to the total.
Whats your say?

Hey there,
Yes u said it right. Tomorrow first hour in the morning session will be very crucial. If india lose laxman early then we have trouble in our hands. If we can add more 100 or 150 runs with this 46 runs it will be game over for south africa.
It was a fabulous innings by sehwag and sachin just like in the earliar match kallis and amla played two very crucial knocks.
Important thing tomorrow morning will be how much our tale enders support lazman or dhoni. We need to get a decent partnership of around 100 runs if not more.
After a long time we got an excellent test match in our hands and this has all the ingredients of becoming an epic test match. Whoever wins this the real winner will be the Cricket and the cricket fans like me and u
Cheers,

Hopefully they will do that. Also iam looking forward to c dhoni's approach here. It will be interesting how he reacts to this situation. Iam saying this becoz a quick 50-60 runs here can make all the difference. So whether he will look to defend or play his shots early remains to be seen.
The ideal situation for India would be Laxman playing his normal game and dhoni going after the bowlers, especially the spinner Harris.
Cheers,

Though in the very beginning there as some hesitation Dhoni is now after Harris. Since both Laxman and Dhoni have gone to lunch without throwing their wicket it can be presumed that thee would be lead more than 200 and if this be the case there would be much pressure on the proteas.

before the match I had no confidence in India to make it to at Eden and the first two sessions only made me dissapointed but the way India struck back in the last session and then two tons scored by two little masters gave us a hope that yes we can do it this time and can retain the number 1 title.
Don't you think from 218-1 to make them all out under 275.. is a performance of a champion team. India deserves to be at number 1 even after this series!

The lead for India is 347, I think it is more than SA's lead in the first test, isn't it?
Well, there is all posibilities that India will level the series and will retain the number 1 position. The most satisfactory thing is that they played like a champion team, didn't they?

Hi sanu,
Yes that is the thing. The way Team India folded up at Nagpur it seemed they are too scared of the SA bowling line and there is no sharpness in the bowling attack of the Indian side. But it was a different story when on the first day itself SA lost their nine wickets and now Laxman and Mishra at the crease there is every hope that India would level the series.

hi friend,
Yes, i have confident that india will win the match and square the series 1-1.
SA 296/10 in first innings and India batting first innings sachin 106 and sehwag
165 were scored and great partnership between them added 249 runs.
Now India great command.
have a good day.

Hi uday,
Now India with a lead of 347 should be confident enough to bowl them out before they force India to bat again.

I think yes.. because yesterday indian batsman replies to SA bowlers strongelly.. and they want to tale lead of 200-250 runs.. and situations are also in favor of indin team.. but if they playing well today.. then defenetly india will won the match.. thanking you and keep mylotting always..

Hu anurag,
Yes you are right. Sachin and Shewag set the stage for Indian winning hope. Today as they go for lunch the lead is quite healthy and hope it would be 200 or more. In case it is more than 200 India's morale would be much stronger and the proteas would surely be under pressure.

Now at the end of 3rd day of play, India is at the driving seat. With lights of Laxman and Dhoni India is in a potion where they can loose only if they so something really silly. Otherwise its totally India's game. It will be good to see how RSA reacts to their 300+ trail.

Hi sanjiv,
Yes I agree with you. Unless the Indian fielding side does not indulge in any silly thing the game is in India's pocket already.
