Do you believe in this saying? Do you think you could ever hate a sister, a brother, mother, father or anyone in the family more than you hated anyone else? Do you think you would come to a point where that person wouldn't matter to you anymore and friends are more important to you than that person in the family?

I have a good relationship with each member of my family, so I can't imagine ever hating any of them. But I have known people who have been abused by family members and they hate them. I can understand that and I think I would probably feel the same way. If a member of my family intentionally hurt one of my children, for example, I would probably have a hard time not hating them.
