If I am Manny Pacquiao, I will find other ways to help those who are in extreme need. Public service does not reside only in politics so I will make it as charity. Free livelihood seminars and trainings, it could be. Free education to qualified students and unlimited things under the sun if you are really willing to submit your self for public service.

I agree with you. If I was Manny Pacquiao, I would not enter into politics where many would take advantage of him. I would rather concentrate in boxing and if retires, discover and develop other talents.
With regards to poverty alleviation, I would have to set up a foundation where I could help others via free livelihood.

So sad that Manny Pacquiao failed to realize that people are just riding on his ambition in the public office. He is a good boxer but he does not have anything to handle the position he is running for.
For instance, the current governor of Sarangani Miguel Dominguez is the current Regional Development Committee - Mindanao Area (RDCom-Min) and I can't imagine how hard it is going to be for him. I have worked in the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) and mother agency of RDComMin so I know what are the basic concepts.

I agree with you guys - he's going to be taken advantage of these politicians during the election campaign - with the money he had earned through his fights. He is known to be very generous with it to the point of abuse.
He is sincere, yes but people would like him to remain that way, with or without going into politics.
