I have four watches. Three of them died this weekend. I only have one that is working!So.. now I gotta decide if I wanna by new watches or new batteries. I tossed one as the face was cracked anyway. My Goofy watch I have had for years and will probably buy it a new battery and another watch band for it. The other I am not sure. Do you buy new batteries or new watches?

I have to replace my main one. The face was broken anyway. I always replace the battery in my Goofy Watch. It runs backwards and they don't make them anymore! I think I'll buy a runner's watch this time that has a stop watch and a heart monitor built it.

If I wore watches I would be the same way unless it was expensive or sentimental then I would get a new watch because I like different things sometimes. Change can be good sometimes.

My watch needs a new wristband...AND a new battery.
However, since I haven't worn it for so many years now, I doubt I'll spend the money on either of those two things, and more than likely will wind up purchasing a brand new watch altogether.

i don't normally. However, my Goofy watch won't ever get tossed. I don't even know how many batteries and bands I have bought for it! It's my all time favorite watch so I will keep buying batteries and bands for as long as is needed!

i buy batteries and obviously when ever there is a problem in the watch and it is not able to continue i dont have any option.
i think every time investment in a watch is not a good idea when you are intended to get it on only.
i think it is good to buy battery instead of watch every time.

You may be right. But it does depend on the cost of the battery and the watch also!

I have around 6 watches and 3 of them comes with extra batteries, thus, for the time being, I doubt I would need new watches or batteries. If my watches are too old and dirty for cleaning, then I guess I will buy new watches. If they are still in good condition, definitely changing the batteries would be my choice as it is inexpensive!

I don't think I have ever seen a watch with an extra battery! That would be nice, although it's like the extra button on a blouse. I wouldn't know where I put it when I finally needed it! I'm sure I would have put it somewhere "so I'd remember". lol!

I'm still a little old school. I like my watch it's just handier to glance at my wrist rather than have to take my phone out of my pocket just to see the time.

I am the same way I use my phone to tell the time so I prefer it to a watch although I have a golden Minnie from childhood and a couple others I got a special gifts.

It depends if the watch or the battery is cheaper. If the watch is expensive a battery but if its a cheapo a watch. Although I don't know what help I am I haven't wore a watch since I was way younger.

I suppose that is a factor. It's not too much worth it if the watch costs less than the battery!

Exactly I mean why would you spend more money on a battery when it could be cheaper to go out and buy a new watch that is something a little different that you would like a little better know what I mean?

I don't buy watches or batteries. I got a used one for Christmas that needs a new battery, but I haven't bothered to get one. I have my cell phone so if I need to check the time, I just use it.

Using my cell phone for a time piece just doesn't work easily for me for some reason. I'd rather glance at my wrist rather than take my phone all the way out and open it to only check the time! Maybe I am old fashioned!

I have four watches as of now. When the battery runs out, I always replace them with new batteries. I love my watches considering that they are quite expensive and are durable. I do not have the intention of discarding them.

My watches are not expensive. I guess that's why I don't mind tossing them when the battery goes out. However, my Goofy watch costs a little more than some and they are no longer available. I won't ever toss that one!

Funny I think I have about 4 watches too that need batteries. However I have had a cell phone for the past two years and didn't feel the need to replace the batteries. Now as of the end of January I got rid of my cell phone so I guess I have to go and buy some batteries.

Yep, gonna need some batteries since there's not a handy clock on the phone now! I usually have the jewelry counter personnel change the battery for me. I guess I should invest in a small tool kit!

I have got alot of watches and they all use batteries and i am the type of person that will buy a battery for a watch. The reason i will buy a battery rather than a new watch is that it works out alot cheaper to get the battery.I have plenty of watches so i would not want to buy any more, not unless they are alot cheaper to buy than a new battery.

It is less expensive to purchase a battery most of the time. New watches can be expensive unless they are running a great sale or something! The real cheap ones I cannot wear as the plastic bands break me out!

You know, most of the time watches are pretty inexpensive anymore. I suppose I will just buy a new watch too. However, I will keep batteries for my Goofy watch! I would like to buy a runner's watch.. but we'll see!

It depends on how pressing the need for a watch is. There are times where I cannot really find the right battery for the particular watch I am using. Either the store does not have it or it is sold out. Therefore, I have to buy a brand new watch. It can get costly, but watches tend to last me about a half of a year to a year a lot of the time.
However, if it is not too pressing, I just wait and look elsewhere for the battery. Hopefully it is not out of stock. If it is, I may still have to buy a brand new watch. However, if it is not, I may just have to look elsewhere. So, basically most of the time, I buy a battery, unless they are out of stock or it is important that I need a watch.

I usually get a year or so out of a watch. Actually the one I usually wear, my nicer one, gave me about 3 years. That's nice! It's face was broken though so I needed to replace it anyway!

hi my dear friend! how is the tutoring? Well, I don't buy watches neither batteries, because my watch doesn't work with batteries, i actually don't know what's the word for these watches in English, but it works from my hand movements. I like watches and like to buy something really cool and qualitative

Now that's a cool concept. I think I have heard of them but I haven't seen one. I guess it would use the motion to make energy or something. I'm guessing a solar powered one wouldn't work because it does get dark! lol!The tutoring is going good. I really enjoy it! Thanks for remembering!
