How do you solve a Rubik's Cube?

Frankly, I can't offer you any advise, but I have done two of them and the only thing I can offer you is the gift of patience. My first one took me almost 6 months, granted it did sit on my desk most of the time, while the other one I accomplished in just shy of two weeks, but I spent a lot of time working on it.

I usually solve the whole rubik's cube and compete with my friends on how fast will we finish it when I was in the 2nd year of my college. It is actually easy when you already memorized the guide (especially from youtube). Although I already forgot how to solve it, I can recall that it is fun when we are doing it back then :D

I haven't seen a Bubiks Cube since the 1980's.I used to have one and never did solve it.It's a confusing puzzle.If I ever see one I'm gonna buy it,but I don't think they make them now a days.
