How can we be sure that we really love someone?

I can be sure that Im in love with somebody by being happy with what i feel and not questioning it...its being kind and respecting the other person as they are gifts. Take it from corinthians....

Personally I think that if you have to ask how you can be sure that you really love someone, then you don't really love them. It is my opinion that when you love someone, you can feel it with every fiber of your being. You know it in the way that they look at you, and the way that they make you feel.

Yes you are right. There is always a lot of sacrifices to love someone. For me I am sure that I really love him if I feel the pain when I got jealous. That is my measurement of love. Most of the time if I feel jealous i realized that I love him. Then I try to understand him until I feel satisfied myself that he cares me. And also exerting more sacrifices for him. This is encouraging couples who is lack in understanding. Because there are couples they will fight and then never understand one another because of their pride which make a relationship break or fall. It is important that we understand and sacrifice to let your lover know that you love him/her.

you are the one who can answer that question ., but if you are asking with my past experiences with regards of how to make sure if the person loves me or not ., i think you will feel that he cares for you everyday ., and he makes a lot of effort to show how much he cares for you ., he's not shy to show it to the world that he loves you so much and he doesn't care about anything aside from loving you and making you happy forever .,

Yes you are right the love without sacrifice is nothing... My relationship with my partner has been put to test for several times and there were times that I really tried to give up on him and the relationship... Tried to leave him and have my peace of mind and heart somewhere far from him, but, I did not leave him... Why? Because there is still part of me that wouldn't just give up on him. That part is hoping that things will change for the better someday... And you know what? I am beginning to forgive him for hurting me so badly during the last few years of our marriage. This is a strong indication that I still do l love him despite of the bad things and pains he cost me... Until now, there are still issues we need to resolve. But thinking that we still need to stay in love and love each other for our kids' sake is helping me alot to cope with all the+ +roller coaster rides we are having right now... Yes. If we are really willing to scrifice for everything for our partners no matter what, then we are sure that we truly love this person. Other things in my opinion is the feeling of wonder when we think of him or her and the value of being honest and true to him/her always.

True love for me knows no heartbreaks. If that person really loves you wholeheartedly, he will be careful with your heart. he will not do any things that could make you mad and make you loose control. Love is a sacrifice. A give and take process. A commitment.
