In present times the major cause of concern is global warming, it is a great problem emerging at the present time and every one must take an initiative to curbe this problem of global warming. The initiative is to be taken at personal level, state level, country level and the world as a whole, whether it is a developed nation, underdeveloped nation or a developing nation. The major cause of global warming is the emission of green house gases like carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous exide etc. into the atmosphere. The automobile exhausts, burning of fossil fuels, industrial waste etc. The major source of carbondioxide is power plants. These power plants emit large amount of carbon dioxide produced from burning of fossil fuels for the purpose of electricity generation. About twenty percent of the carbondioxide emitted in the atmosphere comes from burning of gasoline in the engines of the vehicles. Building of commercial and residential complexes requires a lot of fuel to be burnt which emits a large amount of carbondioxide in the atmosphere. The main sources of Nitrous oxide includes nylon and nitric acid production. Scientist all over the world are making predictions about the ill effects of Global Warming and connecting some of the events that have taken place in the past few decades as an alarm of global warming. The effect of global warming is increasing the average temperature of the earth. The consequences may comprise of higher or lower agricultural outputs, glacier melting and rise in ranges of diseases. There are a number of species that may disappear that have a threat of disappearing soon as an effect of global warming. The global warming is extending the distribution of mosquitoes due to the increase in humiodity levels. The marine life is also very sensitive to the increase in tempreature. Many agreements are been made by various nations in order to curb the global warming. They are entering into various pacts and agreements in order to bring down the effect of global warming. We should also take an initiative to bring down global warming by using a lot of public vehicles as compared to private vehicles and also use the non-renewable sources of energy very conservatively and use the renewable source of energy more and more. Every one must contribute to this cause in some way or the other by planting trees or as per my opinion should use paper conservatively so that less trees are cut down and there could be less cutting of trees. I think, everyone would agree to this view.
