What do you think is better, Facebook or Myspace?

I used to have both a Myspace and Facebook account. Eventually I started to use facebook more often, I felt it was more useful and user friendly. Myspace just got too boring with no fun apps and strange layouts. Does anybody feel the same way? Does anybody still use both websites? Which one is better in your opinion and why? And on a side note what do you think about the facebook homepage changes? Do you think they should stop updating it just after you start to get used to it?

Facebook!!! No doubt about it, unless I am an aspiring singer wanting fame. FB has a lot of applications hwhich are very fun and useful, and it is more interactive. Besides, more people use it and find it to be very useful making it easy to connect to people you know. I have an account in Myspace, and I log in every now and then to see some updates such as mail and friend requests. Other than that I get to do nothing more. And I don't like it that a lot of strange men are sending me messages telling me they're looking for partners. There was even this one man who sent me a message saying that he was very rich because he owns a club or something like that, and that he wanted me to come to his country to meet him. Creep!

A lot of musicians add me,, and even when their music is not my type, I still confirm their requests, or else I wouldn't have any friends there.

I don't use Myspace much and I received some random messages from people I don't know sometimes. I think facebook is better as you are interacting more with people you know. Although I don't use apps that much but I think the layout of facebook is quite user-friendly and you can get a lot of updates from your friends through the photographs they posted and the things they wrote. I think the homepage changes are quite necessary to make them less laggy.

Another reason why I left Myspace... privacy control..

I don't have a Myspace account so I would choose Facebook. I have been a Facebook user for 1 and half years and i can say that this social networking rocks. it is definitely better than friendster.. i love facebook's so cool features.. i love the applications and games! sometimes, i just spend my time playing restaurant city, cafe world, pet society and poker.. :) i don't care about my friends' updates anymore... LOL! :)

I only have a face book account but i did have a account with Myspace it was very dull in comparison to Facebook. Myspace in my opinion has less feature and apps than Facebook making it less fun and enjoyable. Dont get me wrong Myspace is ok its just not that much to do there.

i'm sorry not to comment about the comparision between facebook and myspace because i'm not a user of myspace. but i have a feeling that facebook is the real choice for me to join. i feel facebook is not only a good tools to link people together, but also have a friendly-used inferface for its user to meet and communicate with new friends. by the way, i would be happy if you can give me some advantages to use myspace , i'm not famailiar with myspace indeed.

I would recommend Facebook for the reasons you've already said, and that there are other apps that are fun and can take your mind off of stressful things. Myspace isn't as secure or safe as people don't bother to check privacy controls. There aren't as many apps and the only way you can find a person is by their name (which not many put their full name in, they use made up names) or by location (also made up). It's way easier to find your friends on Facebook.

Since I never used Myspace, but I did try it once I sign up and look at it and then never login again, and I always on Facebook when I open the computer and the internet. So my answer will be biased because I'm a Facebook user I'll say that Facebook is better than Myspace. I'm not saying that Myspace is bad because I'm sure Myspace has it's own strength that I never see because I don't use it and Facebook also have it's ups and down.

Same here, Myspace doesn't have the same feeling that makes you want to check back like Facebook does.

I use Facebook much more often than I do myspace. I really don't like myspace now and I may cancel my account there. I believe that facebook is a lot easier to find people on and to navigate.

I agree. It's impossible to meet other people over Myspace because people lie about themselves and make fake accounts. Facebook is easier to navigate

They keep changing it right after we start to get used to it. It's annoying, they have to understand we don't need change all the time.

I have both but in mu opinion Myspace started to get boring and the only people I really see on there are people in the entertainment industry. I might log onto once a month just to check it and that is about it. I am log onto Facebook all day and have an app for it on my phone. I think it is nice to see people update their status whether it be good or bad and be able to chat with friends that you might not even live near.

I checked my Myspace every day for a couple weeks and it never caught on to me. I just gave up on it and deleted it. Facebook is definitely easier for chatting and seeing what others are doing. Thanks for your input.
