How was your feeling when..

My highest was only around 25 responses. How I wish to have fifty plus as well. The usual 2 to 5 responses used to disappoint me in starting new discussions. I sometimes preferred commenting at others. I do admire and congratulate you, however for having successful discussions.

160 - if I get more than 2 pages (more than 20) of responses, I consider it a pretty good discussion. More than 50 or so and it's a really good one. I don't think I"ve ever gotten more than 80-something.

For me the first discussion I made only got about 8 responses and even after that any discussion I made I never got many responses-guess they didn't appeal to members but it would be nice to have a couple answered to now..I like later responses to one of my early discussions it is interesting and I always answer..LoLo

Fifty is a good number of responses. I was very happy when I got more than 100 responses for a discussion. I got only 20-30 reponses on the day I started the discussion. When I opened Mylot the next day, I found that the number had crossed 80 and my happiness had no bounds. It is normal to get 20-50 responses to my discussion. I only had 3-5 discussions, which got more tahn 100 responses.

wow..! i can't say anything because I just join mylot in 4 days, starting a discussion is more difficult than just make a comment..!

I would have to start one in order to know how would it feel :p

Well let me think, have I ever gotten 50+?? Haha, I think the most I got was 30 on one. For some reason my discussions go in one of two ways. Either I get only a few responses, or I get 20-30, but my discussions never seem to get more than that. I guess they aren't interesting enough to everyone but they are interesting enough to me so I still start them :)

Congrats sanu! I don't think I have had more than 30 but then I probably would not be able to catch up. How did you handle it all and did you responded to them each individually. Was this all in one day or over a period of a week? Of course, I wait out my discussion as the response ween in. I'm happy if I at least have a page or two filled. I am trying to answer as much discussions my friends post as I can.

Starting a discussion is a big resposability for me so I don't do it when I cannot be on if it receives responses. I don't start many either but when I do, they all seem to attract several responses immediately and I like to comment back to all of them. Then others join in the boxes and we get mini discussions going inside them too. It's fun and amazing at the same time. It's hard work when the responses arrive fast and I get behind (like I have done with the one I posted today) but I will catch up before I sign off tonight. I have one that I posted a few months ago which reached 162 responses in the first two days and I was flabbergasted! It still receives some even now and is almost at 200. That's a real thrill, especially as when I posted it I was not thinking at all that it would be so popular. It made eveyone laugh and that's what I love I miss those times when you were on every day Sanu. We had some great fun then and I remember our boxes that went on and on and on and on for months. Will you ever be back for long enough so that we can do that again? There are many more Lotters now who enjoy doing that so if you found the right topic, the sky would be the limit and who knows that it could go on until the end of the year!

Oh my!!!Of course I really feel great!!! I experience having 90 one time and I am so excited but on the other hand I felt tired giving back the comment.. hahaha I feel I must do that because some responders will be disappointed when you will ignore them. But pretty much happy of course when I have that many responses. I remember my topic was about eating breakfast and many are interested to share their ideas.. and that's nice. I was long time ago but now? I hardly can have 2 pages responses..

WOW 160 responses..great... I would be happy even if I get a single response. It feels very nice when people response to your discussion. But commenting back for the responses becomes difficult. The maximum I got for any of my discussion is 15 responses. I prefer responding to others discussion then to start my own.

I have reached that only once in my entire time here in mylot, and I think I only reached like 60+ responses. It was really a great day, and I loved it. I loved having the best discussion and being able to converse with a lot of the other members. It kept me busy for a couple of days. hehehehe.

wow. if i have more than 80s than i will be very excited. haha. my record up to this moment is 40something. never got more than 50. (i believe 50 responses are coming soon^^)

Well, am new to this myLot. I was happy when i am alerted that some one to whom i responded replied appreciating. It is very encouraging and make me think creative. Happy that i can convince a person and make feel good and accept my ideas and thoughts.
