Why does our rate numbers go down?

Why don't they show sometimes, either? Anyone have that problem? I know it may be glitches, but it is often. Thanks for your reply in advance.

Above your name on the top left corner.
The numbers that keep going up after you respond. Mine go up and then go down, and some don't even get credited.

oh I see, thats not the rating system, thats just to represent the number of posts you have done. and it would go up when you post a new reply, not respond to a reply as I am doing now, and it might go down if posts you have answered to have been removed from site for some reason

On the top left side above your name is a number. It goes up each time you answer or post. Mine goes up, then down, and some don't get recorded. Welcome, and good luck.
