How often do make friend requests?

I haven't been around mylot for very long, so I'm still learning as I go. I like that you can make friend requests, but sometimes I forget about that feature. How often do you make friend requests? How do you determine who you want to have as a mylot friend? Do decide based on one discussion or does it take more than one?

Almost never. I know I should make more request but it just never seems to happen. I like responding to different post so I don't really worry about the friend section of the site. I guess it would be more intersting since you can see what your friends have posted. Oh well, guess I should consider making more friend request.

I haven't made any requests, but I've gotten a few. I do like that I can see what my new friends are posting. I feel almost like I'm too new to ask anyone to be my friend, you know what I mean? Silly, I guess.

I don't make requests all that often. I tend to get distracted easily and only do it if I want to talk to someone else about something. Which in the three or so months I've only done it twice. The second person who accepted me I forgot to message because I forgot what I was going to say, but its okay because it must not have been that important if I forgot LOL.

I don't request friends very often. The only time I really will initiate it myself is if I see someone commenting on a lot of my stuff or if I actually have a good interaction going with someone. That is not to say I won't accept them because I often do accept friendship requests, but I don't request them very often, I think of all the friends I have on here I maybe requested the friendship maybe 8 times.

I am the type of person to add people as a friend who have the same interests as me as well as put the responses to on as that way i am able to go to alot of discussions right away without having to look for them as i am then sent a email to say the person has started a discussion.I also except people that add me as they also like the same topics as me.
