how to compost?

Newspaper, cardboard, eggshells....
basically anything biodegradeable's good for compost.
Hedge trimmings, pruning leftovers...leaves in the autumn...the list is pretty much endless.

You can also put grass clippings, coffee grounds, tea leaves, egg shells, shredded paper, old mulch, lint....

I usually turn mine once a month or so(in good weather, I don't turn it in winter) or after a good rain. Since mine is an an old oil drum I also pick up worms that go on my sidewalk after a rain or left over from fishing and add them in to help things along.
