I have been wanting to cook fried rice for my breakfast for several days now but I have been getting up late so I couldn't get the chance to cook but today, having no sleep, I've finally got the chance so I'm deciding what to mix with my fried rice. I'm not a great cook but I love experimenting, I've tried beef loaf toppings, sliced to cubes, mixed in fried rice. Also tried same thing plus eggs. Now I'm thinking maybe corned beef as a substitute for beef loaf.Hmmm...any suggestions?

for breakfast, I like my fried rice with ham or bacon, onions, eggs and cheese. Yum - lots of salt and pepper.

my wife sometimes do experimenting also, once she put shirmps, green peas and corn kernel. i dont eat peas but the fried rice turn out to be great. she also puts a little curry powder just to put color on the rice. you can do anything with fried rice just like you can do with plain rice. but of course eggs are the best and sardines in my opinion. now this discussion is making me hungry.

I like it with ham, corn and carrots.Hehehe. I think anything will do really, It's a blank slate and you can put in anything that you want. Sometimes I even put in Bacon, eggs, then red bell paper, It would taste something like a pizza.

I would have to say for breakfast skip the meat and add some cinnamon, apples and brown sugar. Would be something like hot oats or oatmeal. I make a desert made of rice apples, but I bake it to perfection and not fry it. Maybe even add some butter if your frying it.
