Do you ever like to shop for all the holiday/seasonal decorations and stuff after the holiday/season is over? I absolutely love to! I especially love buying the candy for myself the day after, lol! Just today (the day after Valentine's day) I went to the grocery store to see what they had left. The bulk Valentine chocolates that were originally priced $2.98 per pound were 98 cents per pound, and those packages of super soft, frosted sugar cookies you can find at the bakery were 99 cents each! There were also lots of heart shaped paper plates and Valentine's day napkins on sale for 75% off. ^-^

I usually like to do that but I can't leave my house, there is too much snow and they're not even plowing the roads, let alone salting them. It's still coming down, too. I really like shopping after the holidays because I pick up what I need for the following year.

olisaur - its my favorite time and like you its all about the candy. The best is after easter .. tootsie rolls puts out a bag of only vanilla tootsie rolls. .and they are my absolute favorite! Also at that time. . life savers makes a bag of banana . .so I am the first one at Target the day after Easter! And to add to the bonus they are less then half the price! I also find the best decorations for my Halloween collection after the holiday. . Big thumbs up on this topic.. . I love a good sale!!!

For various reasons, I don't usually celebrate Christmas, Valentine's Day, or Easter- but that doesn't mean that I don't raid the candy section the day after these holidays pass! Right after Christmas, my husband went to the grocery store and got me a box of Ferrero Rocher chocolates for 75% off. And today is the day after Valentine's Day, and it also happens to be grocery shopping day, so I imagine I'll come home with some kind of sweet treat discounted from the holiday.

Those where great buys. I like to shop for sales. I do not get to much after holidays. I really have to shop for buys all the time. I am on a limited income. When I have the money I buy candy on sale, I also look for other sales. Happy posting.
