Do you have any good stress relievers? Are there any techniques that you use to relieve stress? Sometimes I just get overwhelmed with things and get alittle stressed. I don't want to live a stressful life, so that's why I'm asking for stress reliever ideas and techniques.

I have a bunch of stress in my life as well so I use many techniques. Some good ones are yoga, stretching, meditating. Listening to a waterfall, creek CD and just closing eyes for 5 minutes does wonders. Breathing in and releasing slowly, lighting candles with relaxing scents (lavendar, ocean breeze), going for a walk, reading a good book, just taking time out for yourself will do an ounce of good. Exercising, talking to a good friend. Sometimes, those little stress balls do help also :) Take one thing at a time and don't dwell on the things you can NOT change.
I wish you the best of luck and hope these things help.

you cab try massaging your hand. press and massage your palms in circles. press and relax.
use stress balls for stress reliever too. just squeeze the ball for 10 times and relax.
and most of all, try eating something you love, like chocolates, french fries. anything feel-good food will do.

Feel-good foods will make you gain a few pounds, too! Haha but really, this sounds good and I definitely will try it.

My best stress reliever are to go to a quite and secluded place like a creek and to just sit and think about whats going on.

It is but i takes about 20 minutes to get there so it best to go before 4 if you want to spend a little time to relax and unwind.

I like to go shopping. It always takes my mind off things. I also try really hard to not spend money, which can be stressful in its self.
But thinking about clothes and shoes takes my mind off other things. It's therapy for me. And it's relaxing.
I also love going for a drive. It doesn't matter where I go, I just drive. It's great. It's just me and the road. With no destination in mind. It's the best.

Hi! Well, I'm not sure if this works for everyone, but it definitely works for me, so here it goes: When I get stressed with something, I hear rock and metal music as loud as I can, and headbang to it. You might think that this just gives more stress and anger, but the truth is, in the end I just get tired, and the stress just disappears.

hi missmonika if I am in my room and stressed I listen to a lot of my Mozart flute , and violin , and piano concertos, and it relaxes me and soothes me so much. also I rub on Suaves vanilla and lavender body moisturizing lotion on my skin while listening. Lavender scent calms one and soothes your nerves. If I am downstairs and stressed I go out in front of Gold Crest and sit in the sunshine and let it warm me and relax me, then I pull my imaginary bubble around me , my stress proof bubble and no stress can enter, I am safe in my imaginary bubble. try it, it does work. My diabetic nurse teacher taught me that one.
