Let me first say that I am a devout Christian. But I have a situation going on in my life right now that I have been dealing with for about a year. And it seems like everytime that things seem like they might be getting better, then something weird happens to really set me back. (and I mean things like my sister getting really sick or my mom almost dying). I feel like the verse in Esphesians that says, "we are not wrestling with flesh and blood, but with the spiritual forces." I am sorry to not be more specific, but I feel like I am on the verge of losing my faith. God just seems so silent right now when I pray. Any suggestions.

Yes, I believe in supernatural forces. And I believe there are only two of them: Good and evil. God and Satan. The problem is, Satan is so tricky. He designed tricks like making people believe there are ghosts, and other elements.. The truth is, as what the Bible have said, those are just working of Satan to deceive us. Just have faith in God, and He will not forsake you. Just consider bad happenings as trials. Have you compared what's happening in you life today with what happened in the life of Job? He experienced unimaginable trials during his day. But he did not lose faith in God. You can, too...

I know many people are put off by televangelist, but you might receive a blessing and help for your problem by listening to Creflo Dollar. His program is on TBN and he has a website. I know he has opened up the Scriptures to me in a way no other preacher has. I hope he'll do the same for you. James 1:2,3 "My brethren count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience."

Well first of all never give up your faith in the Lord no matter how distant he feels he is always there no matter what. The good Lord works in many ways and will never prolong suffering. I do believe that there is spiritual forces out there though. In order to believe in God one also must believe in the evil of satan as well. They sort of coincide with each other sort of like heaven and hell when there is one there is another. Keep your faith and stay strong and maybe have a priest come into your home and bless it and look on line for any numbers for people that you can talk to for help. Some good advice on exactly what you are dealing with could definately be beneficial with your situation.

Perhaps it's time to stop being accepting and start to question. Leave the comfort of your religion in search for more answers. So many times it's the adversity that leads us in a new direction. One thing I am sure of. Where there is adversity, someone is learning something either you or those around you. Look closer and see how it will change things.Pray if you like. God hears and sees it all regardless.Remember, if you absolutely need help, it will show up from somewhere. You are more capable than you realize. Keep your chin up. Show God just what you can do.I believe in you!!

sorry I just wanted to say something... I believe it's let God show you what He can do in your life and for others through you. there is nothing we can prove to God for we are just created beings from dust. But ask Him to display His might and power in your life because He will. But as long as you are trying to prove something to Him He sits still and keeps silent until you have nothing more to say and prove. That's the way He always work. Look at it this way when a person is drowning the rescuer does not immediately come to save him. The rescuer let the drowning person keep on struggling first until He could no longer move. It's hard to save a person if he is still struggling because He will both drown them together. It's easy to save the person when he is no longer struggling. We cant drown God but as we are struggling with Him trying to prove something we are drowning His presence in our lives. Only when you are too weak to save your self and has nothing to prove that He will come and rescue you. It is in silence that He is the loudest and in our weakness when He is strongest!

I don't believe much in "fait". I haven't had much faith to start with. But, I don't think supernatural forces are involved, at least not based on what you're discribing. Those two things are real bad and can wrack us emotionally, but we are human and we aren't designed to be invinsable. I would just try and be suporitive and be there for your loved ones. That's all anyone can ask of anyone. Be true to yourself, and do what you can to survive. The rest will eventually will work themselves out.

We feel better when we meet people with more worries than us. I have many occasion felt this way too. Also many people must have felt what for they should live with this sort of worries. They may tend to lose faith on the Supreme Power. But the fact is that we can bank upon the hope that God will come to our rescue and that is the only solace we have at the extreme situations. So, let us not lose faith. Pray, Pray to God who will give us some relief and that will be the best solutions.

Although at first there are some forces that control us it is for our own good in the end. If ever sickness struck a person it has a reward when it is overcome. The accomplishment of healing an illness is that reward and it feels better everytime we realize that we've overcome a test. I once had an accident with my left foot with a pipe I didnt notice at the ground. Yes it hit but miraculously only the nail was struck. The pain only ended after ten days but the relief I had of surpassing it all is just like never before. As the new nail begins to grow, the older part kept sinking under my flesh and again I had to do something about it. I had sliced it off and thats another accomplishment. I believe the more aches we got the more satisfaction received.

No.I never believe any gods. And almost all the Chinese don't believe gods.I never pray.I think that I work and harvest.Gods never help me.Only fragile people need gods.I have no faith. So I am sorry that i can't understand your pain about religion.Maybe losing your faith is not a bad thing.
