Who is ready for spring? Well I am. I live in eastern Kentucky and as soon as the snow melts and the roads clear we get more.... We have 3 different groundhogs telling different things..... I want warm weather.....

I am! We had lots of snow and then some cold before and right after Christmas, then it went back to "normal" (whatever that is), where we've had some snow, but only an inch or two at a time, warmer days in the 30s and 40s and cold nights in the teens and 20s. That's typical. But when we get a good sunny day I want to go out without a jacket. When the birds start to gather and sing, I daydream of spring mornings! I can hardly wait...

It is getting closer. We had a couple of days that were in the forties, almost fifty, and that was nice, except my entire yard turned to mud. I do not think we have been too heavily hit right where I am, but four hours from here I understand that there were huge 30 and 40 car pile ups.

To be honest, I was ready for Spring about a month after Winter started. The snow and cold weather was something that I could tolerate. For a little while but then it got excessive. Now into February, it is really overstaying its welcome. I hope everything clears up soon. The cold weather and the snow is really sapping my will and I lack the desire to be that productive. Not to mention the house is rather stuffy. It is in desperate need for some windows to be opened. For some air to be put into the house so I do not feel as groggy and lifeless. I need the warm weather yesterday. I fear though that this is going to continue to happen though March and maybe clear up as the first official day of Spring happens. I hope it will happen sooner but the weather has been a frustrating thing. But, seriously, enough with this cold and dismal weather. If it got up into the 40s at least, I would be thrilled. All I see as I look out my window is white and that is absolutely mortifying in many ways.

I hate the cold weather also .... It is so cold I do not even want to go outside for anything let alone go get groceries and supplies which we all know you have to do.

So what is your plan for the warm weather? I am anxious for warm weather, I need to work in my yard. I am hoping and planning for a garden this year. I guess I could start some seeds indoors so that they will be ready. I want to go to the lake, and go to some zoos. Last year I worked way too much and did not have any real time for fun. I live in the middle of Kansas, and the weather can get real pretty fairly early. I should be able to start putting plants in the soil mid to late March. I have a gift card that I earned on another site to spend and my hubby and I decided that we will use it to do stuff for our garden this year. It will be really a big boost. I have one sort of raised bed that I grew tomatoes in and they did really well, so I will do it again. Come on Spring!!

I live in a trailer park but I still had a flower garden and tomato plants.... I even had some small pumpkins to come up so for Halloween I gave one to a cousin for a pie and the rest I gave the rest to some of the kids to decorate for Halloween. I love fresh tomatoes and even got off some cucumbers off my plants this year.

Yeah with alot of rain or alot of snow it causes flooding here when melted.... It is hard because it does not make easy for traveling to see family and friends.... It seems it is even harder for you if you are missing your holiday traditions and culture.... I am really sorry to hear that.... I hope you are able to see your relatives soon

I live in the south. And we had a touch of the February blizzard this weekend. Actually it started Friday. The roads were to dangerous to travel, then and all day Saturday. It did get better Sunday. And today Monday was a wonderful, beautiful day. The forecast called for rain/snow showers but God let all that end by mid morning and the rest of the day was beautiful. It made me think of Spring. I gave a praise to God and the hope of being here to see Spring.

Our snow started about 2AM and stopped about 1pm in the afternoon then it was not 2 hours later we got a second blast ..... the wind was horrible also.... Thank God yesterday was beautiful so I got home safely from church.... They had a birthday party for me.... It is nice to know that among your immediate family that you actually do have another family in your life.... They have been so supportive through all my trials and sickness the last couple months....

I am so ready for spring! We got a big dumping of snow here in Michigan last Wednesday. We've had a few flurries since then, but nothing more. The temps have been warmer and the snow on the ground is starting to melt. That was making me pretty happy. Well, of course when I watched the weather tonight they said we'll be getting an inch or two overnight. I want to scream! No more snow, please! Spring can't get here fast enough!

I am ready for the warmer months also.... I usually can cope with one good snow a year because it is so pretty and breathtaking but after that it is over ..... That snow never comes when you want it either .... Christmas is usually the time you want that snow that way you can get there before it starts and do not have to be back to work until it clears up atleast in great circumstances.
