Have you ever (on a long time basis)hated or liked your boss? was it because of his behaviour towards you or that he behaved that way with everybody and when you got a new boss or changed your job/department/section was it the same history repeating itself? And did you ever really think deep to find out what the real situation is?

I don't really hate him per se. There are just times that I don't like him - the way he demands and all. His demands sometimes are not reasonable, like when he wants us to forge signatures in documents that pertain to money matters. We all know that that's not right at all. We simply decline and he could not do anything about it because he knows well that we are aware of the possible consequences of that. I like him at times because he's considerate and he understands us. When we're absent from work, he would not scrutinize us of the reason/s to the very last detail. I think that's just people are - we all have our good and bad sides.

At my present job I do like my boss sometimes and i also hate her because she always try to believe whatever gossips she hears from her brother regarding the operation of the business. And there are times that she holds our salary if there are some departments who didn't pass their monthly reports on time. For her "mistake of one, mistake of all" it's really unfair for other employees who submits reports on time.

As a person, I like my boss. He's a very kind and generous person who genuinely wants to help people. That being said, however, he's generally so oblivious about everyday things, it can make you want to scream! I have never met someone so disorganized - bills never paid on time, clients calling because he forgot something, etc. I'm not sure whether it's worse to have a boss who's mean, or a boss who's clueless...oh well. At least I'm not bored!

My boss and i feel good about each other, yes we have our share of differences but for the past 5 years we are able to find ways to have a good working relationship. Its just a matter of conditioning yourself and making yourself heard. If theres something that you dont like feel free to tell your boss about it instead of telling the said complaint to other people.

Nice topic udayrao2!
Yup I do like my boss but same way I also hate them for some minor reasons.
The thing is... My parents are actually my bosses!lol
We have a family business and they decided to make me one of the employees.
Yup! an ordinary one. Treated same or even worse than the regular ones.
They said that it's part of my training and all so i have to deal with it.
I kinda like the idea because i love challenges but a lot of times they're like monsters! huhu

I changed my job just before a few days... The company that I was working with previously was good one and my boss there was the most friendly, cooperative and helpful. I liked him a lot... He was just like an elder brother to me... At the end of Feb., he decided to pay attention to his business and quit the job. I was pretty sad at this and I changed my job too... There were other reasons for changing too... :) And yet, we all remember him as the most friendly boss ever... Thank you!

I dont really hate him, I just dont like him sometimes. I just think that some rules in the company are illogical and I cant see the point of imposing them. And another thing is, if some problems arise with you and the company they dont tell you directly. They say it to every body which makes it unfair for others.
I dont like my boss because he doesn't seem to know what to do about it. I mean, he's the boss and he is suppose to know. If we asked him questions and doesnt know what to answer, he would always say it is confidential. What?!!
