What other animal do you think has got a bad wrap besides donkeys?

Boy I feel sorry for those creatures
They really have it bad in our humans eyes. Even their proper name is a joke because is associated with a part of our bodies to get rid of the waste in our stomachs which is the 'A" word...a BAAAAAD word. 
We also use it to denigrate people that are useless, have no value ..they are just a plain a**. 
. Even in other languages like Spanish, a donkey aka burro is considered very low. My Argentinian friend has told me that people that are not very smart are called burros....sad I know :( I mean who/what started all this bad wrap? Sometimes I think the not-too-attractive-sound they make heee haw heee haaw started the whole thing :( Between you and me ...is annoying..isn't it? :(

Ostrich also has a bad wrap.People say one is behaving like an ostrich when one doesn't confront a problem or when one deliberately avoids it.An ostrich is said to bury its head in the sand and think that the danger has passed.Similarly individuals who are confronted with obvious difficulties yet avoid them or foolishly dont try to solve them are compared to an ostrich.

In many ways, a cow could be considered to be another one who has a bad rap. After all, comparing someone to a cow, would not be considered a compliment. That would be an insult. A pig would be another one. The phrase "eat like a pig" comes to mind and it is not a favorable compliment. Those are the two that come to mind. Animals that are used in comparisons that are mostly unfavorable.
