which do you prefer to work at home or in an office with a boss?

I am really tired getting up just to go to work. Doing the routinery work is getting into my senses now. I don't know if it is because of the idea that I can earn money through my computer alone. I've been joining sites that you can bid for project and doing online articles. I'm actually trying this for a month or two then maybe if it works for me I'll give up my work. How I wish I can do it on my own without a boss, without getting up at the same time everyday. Don't we all wish we could do something like that; be free and decide for our own?

I think there will be very few people who want to do work in office with a boss if they have a option. I definitely do my work at home i can whatever i wish. There is no tension comfortably i will do my work...

I think, It's better to work in home because I'm comfortably working at ease and no tension at all. I'm already more organize than before,no pressure at all. I knew there is no perfect company, there will be problems on the site of work but at home you are the boss.

Of course, I prefer to work at home and be my own boss. If only MyLot can give higher financial reward, I prefer to MyLot everyday, day-in, day-out.

i think i wnat to do it with a boss, i am afraid that without a boss, i would be too lax and might start work after lunch. although my boss is very lax with me, i still have the discipline when i am under someone. just my thoughts.

I'm not very self-motivitaded. I tend to when I get tired to adopt a "i'll do it later there is always plenty of time because the day is young" aditude and never get back to what I need to be doing. When I work, even though it was at fast food, joint I had to do something and wasn't able to curl up somewhere and lie down when I was tired. But, with the need to have something in my accounts I will do what it takes.

Well I was forced to work from home due to ill health meaning that I can't go out to work. But I tell you what having been my own boss I would never be able to go back to working for someone else. The thing is that when working from home for yourself you have to treat it just like a proper job that means working as many hours if not more than you normally would. Be able to take responisibility for your own actions, be motivated to work when you feel like staying in bed and be prepared to learn, learn and learn some more as making a living from home is constantly evolving and you can't just stand still. But then the plus points are that you work the hours you want, which means if you want to take a morning off then you can because you can work late at night if you want. You can make your days as exciting or as routine as you like. You can choose where you want to take your self in terms of work and you get a greater sense of pride and satisfaction when working for yourself. My only suggestion is that build up your working from home by doing stuff in the evenings and weekends for a year as you will then get a true picture of what it takes and whether or not you have what it takes. You will be able to see the natural flow of work over a period of year and see that there will be some months which are worse than others. Plus if you do decide to go it alone working from home, you can use that extra income to build a safety net so that when you do make the leap you have some back money which will last a few months.

That is really, really a good idea. For me, I like to work at home and will be able to be with my family. I also have small business to oversee. I used to work for a long time in a corporate world, but working at home is incomparable.

work at home, yes i'm tipically the same with you. doing job with the same routine everyday is boring. it's better doing your job at home, and you have time for your family too.

back when i was employed, i did enjoy the security blanket that having a regular stream of income provides, as well as other fringe benefits, and other perks like traveling cost-free. but it was so tiring to face the morning and evening traffic, quite harassing to be with office people whose only entertainment is to find more gossips about other people, and if you are unfortunate enough... to have an arrogant boss who likes nothing better than to further stress you... ughhh... i didn't want any of that anymore, at least not on a regular dosage. hehehe i did freelancing for 2 years, working for some months and then vacationing the rest of the year. i have saved up some, enough to start a business and did just that last november. i'm glad to have a good roi and be my own boss at the same time. the only downside of being my own boss is being my own staff too. -lol- but i get to spend more time with my family, do traveling and vacations, be present in all important occasions, be within earshot when there's an emergency... all those stuff i couldn't do back when i was employed. it has lots of advantages and some disadvantages, it just depends on what you really like doing and your priorities in life. i got tired of the hustle and bustle of the corporate work. i did have insurance and health benefits with the high paying job but my health suffered a lot. now i'm just taking it easy. and i haven't caught a cold in the months that i'm into herbal based products which is my business right now. to think that before, not one month will pass that i wouldn't have asthma attack or flu. now, i'm healthier with less stress. so it's working quite well enough for me.

I have been working at home for over three years, and I really have gotten to the point where I can't stand it. It's lonely and I would rather be around other people than just sitting here by myself with no personal interaction.

hi mariashieryl, well for me I will not give up my work even if I have a home base job. I am also doing homebase Job. though the earnings are not quite well. Why I dont want to give up on my job because I love my job and enjoy my Job. Working at home, sometimes I felt boring unlike when you are outside of your house. You can met many kinds of people and the experience as well is important. well it also depend on my boss. I have a terror boss also and is so workaholic but I am challenge more to do my job well and learned from It. But if the case is you want to earn big amount and work at home is much better than working at home.then you can give up your job. happy mylotting.. =d09:)

As far as I am concerned, I prefer to work at home which I think is the most enjoyable life in the world. If I have the ability to work at home. I think the most enjoyable thing I have done. I like the life in that way.But if there is no chance to work at home. I must choose to work at the office with the boss just nearby me.
