does all of the mirrors tell the truth??

hello acie girl! i think i am like you who wants to see myself on the mirror! haha, i just like looking on myself, maybe that's why we also get along well. hehe i also noticed what you notice, and i think the reason for this is that some mirrors do have a grade that makes us look shorter & wider...hehe and sometimes the lights also affects how we appear on the mirror and even how we feel about ourself for the day. the mirror that i always like looking at, that no matter what i always feel that i look good are those mirror on the parlor & at the mall. hehe coz even these mirror in the house sometimes i look good sometimes don't. i think what we see on the mirror is what we feel about ourself. what e think about ourselves is what the mirror shows... good day!

some mirrors are liars! haha.. i can say that a mirror is liar if i look like ugly or fat. but if i look pretty and sexy, the mirror is telling the truth! hahaha...

I think that sometimes mirrors can be dangerous if we look too seriously into them! Some people have been known to look at themselves and then think that they are too fat and that they should lose weight and so the begin to slowly starve themselves! This is one very serious thing that can take place. Otherwise, I look into the mirror myself and I'm generally pleased with what I see. I think that you have to look at yourself with respect when you look in the mirror, rather this than condemn yourself for not looking as good as you would like. I guess there needs to be a balance when gazing into the world of mirrors! Andrew

I also noticed it acie_21. Hello there now! When I was a young girl I'm afraid to see my face. I dont know why or might be get shy when my father say hmmmm your getting to be a lady. Some mirrors I see specially lower prices I see different on me. But I also see on it my fac get pretty and beautiful in other time. It depends upon the kinds of mirrors whether good or bad. So I can say that not all mirrors are telling truth.

To be honest, the topic really made me smile. Not all mirrors are created the same way, some of them produce distorted images. Some make you look wider and shorter, while others make you look thinner and taller. But that's the extent of the illusion. Your skin will still basically look the same and your beauty will come out either way :)

Mirrors definitely does not tell the truth!! haha =D There are so many kinds of mirrors around to cheat!! There are long mirrors, to make us look skinnier, and those concave mirrors to make us look fatter or shorter etc etc.. haha =D As such, mirrors can never be an indicator of how good we look!! What's important is that, we have the confidence in ourself.. haha =D And sometimes, lighting will affect our image in the mirror too.. haha =D

i believe what the mirrors say. they would not lie. let say if we mad, the mirrors will reflect it without adding or reducing or when we smile, they will say it is a nice face .

acie mirror always tell the truth ,It only depent on the mirror you see.Some mirror shows you look great then you look beautiful ,But some mirror shows you ugly means it depend upon the mirror ,because the mirror has some problems .So believe your mirror if they are clean .

There are mirrors where I look slim and there are mirrors where I look fat. So, it depends on us what mirror we choose.

I don't think mirrors can be fully trusted because there are mirrors that tend to make you look bigger and other mirrors tend to make you look slim. So, we don't really know what mirror to trust.

All conventional mirrors like you will find in an individuals home are going to tell the truth. However, there are mirrors in places like the fair that are meant to make you look different and those are telling a distorted version of the truth. As for me there are certain things that I am very conscious of and there are other things that I could care less about. I'm not thrilled with the way that I look and so I try to avoid mirrors much of the time.

Hi Acie, Mirrors do not tell the truth all the time. There are deceiving mirrors. There are mirrors that will show your real self and beauty, there are mirrors that will make you stout and big meaning--not the real you...your real physical make up LOL. I really love looking at myself in the mirror, i act, i make faces, i talk to myself--i am happy to always see me face to face. seriously, it's not what you really see in the mirror that matters...it's how you feel when you see yourself and how you carry yourself out!

Mirrors are strange, because when I look into one, I always think "hey, I'm not too bad looking", but then when I look at the same image in a photo, I will think "damn, I never knew I was that hideous"

Every mirror shows me something different too! Some mirrors I look like crap but then I turn to another, and I look glowing -- pretty! I was wondering if it was only my perception, because I can see no scientifically explainable reason for this! So maybe, mirrors all describe their own perceptions of truth...about you. Pieces of yourself, perhaps on the inside? Throughout alot of cultures, mirrors have had the ability to open doorways to the soul, to capture the soul. So maybe!
