with the rapid development of technology and the use of internet among people do you think that in the future you will watch your television shows and other tv channels in online only . now also many tv channels are available online . with the reach of computers and almost every house having ab computer with an internet connection do you think that its possible . even now many are watching the some of the shows they miss in youtube . do you that in the future you no need a television to watch tv channels but a computer and an internet connection ? i think its definitely a great possiblity .

Future of televisions is DTH, Direct to Home Service, many people in my country now have a cable connection, first this has to be evaded and decoder boxes should exist, after using decoder boxes , DTH will take place, DTH is considered as the future of indian televisions...
Internet is very costly..
For how long u can see a tv show in internet without buffering, so to avoid buffering, u need a good bandwidth ISP, if u are going for high speed internet u have to pay more, after paying more u might get high speed internet and u can see in internet the tv shows and as on u like !!

i'm also mentioning about the future..
Future of televisions is completely DTH....
Increased speed in internet doesn't ensure the television part.
There has to be affordable pay for internet by all sorts of people, so this may bring up to an extent..
And also, monitors consume more power than television sets..

The future of TV may be online, but I don't know that it will be on a computer because there are definite disadvantages to that. Monitors are harder to see from across the room, so that watching a show is more a one person thing.
Bit I think that somewhere in the future, TV, cellphones, the internet and all communications will be in one appliance. Everyone will have their own and be able to communicate via email, chat, forums and voice, while shopping or using the GPS, or watching a movie, ordering pizza and so on. We won't have computers and cellphones and TVs, we'll just have one conglomerate system.

You can still watch TV channels on you computer through internet. DTH services are based on online telecasting. They telecast TV programs through satellites like internet.

Oh, yeah, I think it is very likely to happen. The new generation begin to watch TV programms online, with the time passes, it is possible that most of people prefer the television online, but now the television is also very common, I believe that with the development of the television, its function varies, it's not so easy to be replaced by computer.
