When you first install windows on a computer you have to registered it with microsoft. Whoever you got to install your version of windows, didn't finish the process or ensure it was done properally. Quite often you have to go into the system settings and redigister your product with Microsoft. This usually can be done online and usually needs to be done within three days. Quite often if the os was installed pr properally installed, then chances are you should recive a warning to"activate" windows. this makes the product ligit and shows microsoft you aren't trying to pierot their products.

I think that technician himself is using pirated OS and I would advice you not to call any service operator! TURN OFF AUTOMATIC UPDATES FROM WINDOWS AND USE WGA REMOVER OR ANY OTHER BOOTLOADER FOR FIXING YOUR PROBLEM!

usamietihsia,
I just do not see your where this discussion of yours is heading.
So, can you care to share a little more than running around like a headless chicken? First of all, you may want to relate if your PC is being self assembled or one where you have bought from an authorized dealer or branded.
How is your technician to be blamed for this "pirated" operating system? Is this technician of yours from an authorized service center or dealer?
I think you need to be more specific if you really want help or advice. So, help us to help you.
Have a nice day.

if it's a volume licensed OS, then you shouldn't have any problem with the legitimacy of your OS .. but if it's a single-user PC and it has been installed on numerous computer, then that will cause the problem .. if you own the said OS, then give MS a call so that they can solve and fix the problem ..

Your windows is a not genuine. and it is a pirated software.
what you vendor did. he did not buy the original windows OS for you. For original you will have to pay more money and i think if you have paid he did not use the original one.
this is illigal to use the pirated software and you will not get many support and services from the microsoft.

Download wga remover on the net. Use that software to remove your problem. then turn off your automatic updates in your windows.
