That is say this situation happen on you. Yor BF or GF told you that he(she) want to have something for the valentine's gift. You check at the counter and it cost over 1000$. However at this moment, your financial condition is not so good that you can't afford it. what will you do for such a situation, to borrow money from your friend, to tell the truth to your beloving, or to buy another gift for him(her)

In this kind of situation, I would let her know that I am not financially capable of getting such an expensive gift for her, but for sure this dream will be fulfilled when I am financially wealthy. Then I would probably get something cheaper for her, something that I can afford. I am sure that she could understand me if I say to my girlfriend.

Hello,
I would first make sure if she knew about the price and intentionally asked for it. If not I would let her know about the price. Now, if she still wants to have it, or has some resentment for not being able to buy it for her, it is the best time to get rid of that person immediately. A person like this is only interested in your position, wealth and all other things except you. She doesn't love you as she might pretend. Instead she loves something that you have. A person like this is highly unstable and can leave you anytime, quite unexpectedly. They can never be a good friend, a good neighbor, a good mother or a good wife.
I would go for an immediate break up.
God bless you all
