there are different pants out there: high waisted, mid-waisted and low-waisted. of course if one just picks out what's on display most of the time it would be the low-waisted type. i don't even know why these types of pants are very popular...

ha ha ha well it might be fit of pant, u must be low rise trousers, and in this fit, front rise and back rise are very short as compare to regular jeans check it out

In addition to the responses already provided, it is also possible that you are wearing them too low. Unless your pants are cut otherwise, they should fit just below the bellybutton. I used to wear mine too low and I had a similar issue. If this is not the case, you should try wearing them a little higher.

Your pants may be too small, too big or simply cut too low. Take your pick only you know how you pants are fitting; but the obvious answer is that they are not fitting correctly.
