HI, I started my morning with people that dont know how to talk or tell you what they want. Well, I am a very patient person and I dont really push or rush people to do thing but this morning was just something I couldn't stand. This girl, may be 15 or something... she started to order something and she spoke in her throat and I couldn't hear what she was saying, so I said, excuse me? I can't hear you... and she still did the same thing and her mom was so mad and started to talk so loud to her and she just pretend nothing happened. When it came to another person, he ordered some sandwich and then he asked me to warm and I did. Then he asked me what I was doing to his sandwich and I said I warmed it and he asked me what is that? lolz... I was like, made it hot as u requested me? and he was like hot? lolz... oh my god, I dont know what another word to explain this to him and I just showed him the sandwich and then he was like, oh oh!!! I got it.

My sister will relate to you smileonstar! She works with all kinds of people and she gets asked a lot of dumb questions. Fortunately the majority of her enquiries are phone ones so they cannot see the expression on her face! I’ve worked in customer service too and I know how much patience is required to deal with the general public. I don’t like to judge but there are some individuals out there that must leave their brains at home when they go out!

hahhaha.... u got the good one there. right they forgot to bring it with them or something. sometime, they fight with me over a nickle. lolz... and sometime they cheat me just over a small thing and it is not even cost a penny. lolz. Last time, I had this customer and she had only like $1 with some change and she ordered coffee and some food for the kids and the total came out like over $3. and she was like WHAT? how much the coffee costs and this and that. I listed all the prices out and she asked for my other co worker. She said my co worker give her free... lolz. and she never charged her that much over these which was not truth. then I said, if u dont have enough change then u can bring me back next time... she was not satisfy that all... she kept on saying my co worker gave her free. I said, I am the manager here and u just told me that my employee gave u free then she will get in trouble by doing that. then my employee came in and she dont even know this lady. So, then I said... now! if u dont have enough for today then u can bring me back next time but u have to leave me ur information. Actually, I dont do that but seem like she is not going to come back... so I want to make sure she is and I dont want the kids got hungry. She went to the car and found a lot of change for me... lol. so I took it and said Thank you! a few week later she came back but she didn't say anything

Hi i have a son that has a speech aswell as language problem so he has an excuse for people not being able to understand him,he is nearly 7 and he gets very frustrated if someone asks him to keep repeating himself and him having ADHD do not help.I know what you are saying about customers, but to be honest i am a very calm person now and i must say it used to get my back up,but it do not anymore. All you have to keep telling yourself is not much longer until you finish work or not much longer until your customer leaves.

hi, well... for me. if My son experience like that and i know how he is then I will not let someone repeat himself for... I will ask him myself to see what he wants and order it for him. I know u dont want other to keep on asking him right? then I will make it short and fast.

Good for you for being able to have patience. It cannot be easy to do since you come into contact with so many customers a day. It would do all of us consumers good to remember what employees who work in your field have to put up with. And it would also help if we spoke plainer!

of course working with public is hard and need a lot of patient to do this job. I cant imagine people work in customer support line. I mean a lot of they dont know what they are doing out there...some with no respect and think people working like me is totally cheap and they never give a value to us... lucky I am not just a worker there... lolz

hi smileonstar oh yes i think we have all had those kinds of days no matter where we worked, I remember one morning I was shelving books in the children's side of the library. this lady came to me and asked me where she could find this book about a pig, that talked and a goose, but she could not think of the name of the book or the author.well I put the clues together and said, oh 'You are looking for Charlotte's Web. then I pointed out the aisle it would be in. She looked at me, but it didnt have anything about a web in it, she said. I shook my head and went on shelving as I had done all I could, more than I was expected to do in fact. She went to the branch manager and said I refused to help her. The manager asked me what that was all about and I told her. then she laughed and told me that was indeed the book the idiot was looking for and she finally checked it out, all the time saying but it doesnt have anything to do with a web. I do not think the woman had ever actually read the book or she would not have said that.

When you work with the public there are just days like this. Pretty soon you wonder if you are going crazy. If I realize what is happening I can change the vibes by being very friendly and cheerful, it seem to chase the heavy energy away. And your tips go up.
