Have you ever ran out in front of a moving car?

I have ran out into a moving car when I was not paying attention. I almost got seriously hurt. The car miss hitting me by inches. Kind of scary thinking about it. I am pretty positive if the car hit me I would have had to go the hospital because of how fast the car was going. I am thankful for being alive and the car not hitting me. I value my life and don't want to die any time soon. I know look both ways before crossing the street. It is important to me to be aware of my surroundings now.

i hear time almost slows down and your reactions speed up in situations like these, though the last time i did something like that i was too young to remember

I once nearly got hit by a car when I was still in kindergarten. I was pretty careless back then because I was confused about my uniform. I thought I wear wrong uniform and got scared. The next thin I remember I heard someone yelled at me and a long blowing horn.

I have nearly walked out in front of a car.The car was going very fast and i only caught sight of it at the last minuite, thankfully i got back on the path just in time.We have a speed limit of 20 miles an hour up our road as there are alot of children on the housing estate aswell as a school that is just around the corner, but the cars still speed right where i live.

Yes, a few times actually. I'm surprised I have never been hit by a car yet, because I sure have had my fair share of near misses
The other day, I was coming out of a shop. Parked near the curb was a big white van obstructing my view. I peered my head around the corned and saw a 4x4 coming down the road, though it was going slow so I thought I might as well just cross. I was halfway along the road, and the damn thing must have sped up because the next thing I heard was the screeching of tyres and a torrent of profanities. Needless to say, foul words were exchanged between us before we both continued our days

I've been hit by a car before but it wasnt serious. Luckily, the car was able to stop immediately and he wasnt really doing above 20 kph. I was a kid back then and I was crossing the street. The car kinda tapped the side of my knee but I was able to move it away as he stopped so it didnt really hurt. But that was an experience I will never forget.

A couple of years ago someone stepped off the pavement right in front of my car. The guy was yapping on his mobile phone, ignoring everything around him, didn't look at all, just stepped off the kerb in front of me. Thank goodness I have good reactions and darn good brakes on the car. The stupid thing is, he just ignored me completely and carried on yapping on his phone and walking over the road.
Always look both ways and always make sure you are safe to cross the road
