If you had the choice, which country would you like to be born in?

So, if you could choose a country to be born in, which county would you choose, and why? Would it be because of the life quality, or because of the culture and history of that country?

i live in Australia and it is amazing. in terms of scenery, we have snow, deserts, beaches, mountains and rainforest. health care is subsidised by the goverment (so that some of it is free) so that if you need medical treatment, you will recieve it, no matter what your financial situation. there is plenty of opportunity for employment and learning. i mean, i come from a poor background and i am studying science at university and will probably be transfering into a medical degree next year. we dont have the strongest or most diverse culture around but the atmosphere and people are very welcoming. i am the sixth generation (on my mother's side) to be born in my town and although my father was born in the netherlands he came here when he was a child and identifies only with being an australian. i would never live or be born anywhere else.

It's great to be studying in college coming from a poor background! It shows that your country is well developed, and you're willing to take advantage of it.

i would like to be born in France or Singapore. France because i love the culture and the environment. Singapore because of the cleanliness and discipline of the country and its citizens.

I'd say Australia, because I love the beach and I would love living somewhere that stayed pretty warm for the most part. We've had 23 inches of snow in a week where I am now, and it hasn't been fun. (Not much school, though, which is nice)

I really don't have much of a problem with my current country of orgain. But, I guess I'd probably say Japan. The culture is interesting and they bring anime over to us. Most of its good and you can learn a lot from a simple television program. But, yeah I find the country interesting at best.

Well I am happy with my country and I am proud that I was born as a Filipino.. But if I will be given a chance to choose a country where I want to live. I would choose Great Britain or South korea. I wish that I was born as a british or a korean because of their culture and history.

I was born in Canada and I live there still but I have travelled to and lived in other countries. I am always thankful to get back to Canadian soil. I travel because I love to learn the culture and history of other places but I also find those things right here at home. I think the education system in my province is great and our health care system may have it problems but it rates very high in my books as well.
