true faith

True faith relies on God and believes before seeing. Naturally, we want some evidence that our petition is granted before we believe, but when we “live by faith” (2 Cor. 5:7), we need no evidence other than God’s Word. He has spoken, and in harmony with our faith it will be done. We will see because we have believed, and true faith sustains us in the most trying of times, even when everything around us seems to contradict God’s Word.
The Psalmist said, “ I am confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living” (Psalm 27:13). He had not yet seen the Lord’s answer to his prayers, but he was confident he would see, and his confidence sustained him.
Faith believes it will see will keep us from becoming discouraged. We will laugh at seemingly impossible situations while we watch with delight to see how God is going to open a path through our Red Sea. It is in these places of severe testing, with no human way out of our difficulty, that our faith grows and is strengthened.

how inspiring. Heb. 11:1 FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPE FOR THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN;..believing that a cancer would be healed without taking any medicine or going to the hospital for diagnoses is an example of faith that we extremely practice..always thinking that in an ocean of problems God is there, that He would not let you drown..it always make my tears to fall everytime i remember how God work in ourlives. He never fails,

Amen.. hmm, are you struggling with cancer in this time?.. let me know the details mr. blue_raine. and allow me to pray for you. surely, faith will take us to a different heights of experience together with the Lord, along with His majesty. that even cancer could not separate us from His love and surely, He will heal you in His time.. may your faith be continually be growing this time, despite the desert you are facing.. for surely, there in the middle of the desert, you will find the stream where you can have the source of the living water. thank you jing for such a kind offer, but i don't have a cancer, i just shared what my beloved brethren experienced when they received JESUS as their God, savior and healer. and may i correct you jing, i'm not MR. but MS....have a blessed day onwards..thanks.

thank you again. i just thought that based on what you shared in my post, it seemed to me as if you have a cancer. hehe.. but anyways, ms blue_raine, thank you for responding positively. in this journey, we are always being offered with a choice. and let that choice be dedicated to the glory of the Lord. and in this way, we will always have faith and regain the strength needed for everyday life.. thanks!

Hi jingbautista, I agree that faith can bring comfort to many people, but people have faith in many different things. The Mormons for example have faith in the Book of Mormon as well as the Bible. Muslims gladly die for their faith, as do many in other religions. I believe in God because I can see evidence all around me but also because I have a knowing within me. I cannot prove it to another, but it's enough for me. Blessings.

well, thank you for an honest reply pose123. i see that you have your own principles in life, if i am not mistaken. i see that, and i respect that. i used to live a life like that before. i am going nowhere. i don't believe in anything. i used to go to church in respect of my grandmother and everyone is doing it. but in reality, i used to ridicule those Christians who share to me the Word of the Lord. and then, i used to think that there isn't a reality in it. so much questions and unbelief is in me before. but it all changed. things changed. and i hope that sooner, you will see and believe your own very eyes the things am sharing you right. until then, please do share to me how you have it. till then. blessings.!

True faith is believing and following God's word regardless of what others will say to you.
God's word is no doubt can be found in the Bible. It is for us to read the Bible and actively follow what is written in it, no more, no less. That is, in my opinion, is true faith.
Other than that and more than that is just plain hypocrisy.

very well said ethanonthemoon. hmm, very brief and concise. i just hope that the way we handle the Word of the Lord, should be seen among our lives. hypocrisy means hearing and not doing, having faith and not moving on. having the guts, and yet not doing anything.. thank you!

There are many believe that there is a Super Natural Power. God.The existence of God and the faith keep us running the life.Hope is given by the faith of God. If you meet any one suffering with any type of problem in life, he would say that "it will be better tomorrow". we know that tomorrow never comes. But the faith of God keeps us thinking and Pray for brighter tomorrow. Have a good day.

I respect your believes, but I don't belive in God because it's not proven. I accept the possibility of hem existing, but I won't belive it without some solid evidence. I belive Darwin was right. The modern science proved that the human DNA is very similar with the primate's DNA.

God is always there, but you won't prove Him that He is there if you won't let Him be part of your life...when our life is at risk, we can not call darwin to help us, whom will we call? it is God the Father who created darwin, .

Faith is what we believed that God is existed. No doubt about that since we are created in his own image. To doubt our faith with God is to doubt our selves. We should always walk by faith not by sight alone. Since we all came from God we have to standby with Him and believe in Him no matter what happened. Good Day
