Is it his music or religion?

How did Bob Marley touch your life? Is it about the melody his music brings or the religion that his lyrics talk about? For me, the reggae music he popularized is why I idolize him and not his religion. I don't agree with his religion. no offense but his melodies keeps me dancing.

Same here :) It's his music which I like. Reggae is such a wonderful genre. If not for him, it wouldn't have been popularized.

it influenced us Filipinos in our own music, though the religion never stuck to the music itself.... I never heard any Filipino who's really a rastafarian follower. is there?

I don't think there's any Filipino who's practicing rastafarianism. But if ever there's any, I think they're just few 'cause I don't think rasta is still that active today. But yes, Filipino's are really influenced by Bob Marley's music :)
