I'm 106 lbs and 5'3 and I try to stay away from junk foods and sugar but I still don't feel healthy. In my family I'm the one who gets sick the most. I try to exercise every now and then and try to avoid stress but I still don't feel that I'm healthy. I don't get it. I watch the Doctor's show and Dr. Oz show regularly to learn more about how to keep myself healthy but I end up getting sick still. Is it my immune system? My hormones? Should I go vegetarian?
What about you? Do you feel healthy?

You need to eat heaps of vegetables. I am vegan and was vego for about 10 years before that and I am hardly ever sick and I have lots of energy.
Your body works overtime to digest meat so that's why you have more energy when you eat a plant based diet. Fruits and vegetables have so many vitamins and minerals in them and help reapair your body.
It is a fact that vegans and vegetarians live longer, healthier lives and Vego food is awesome. You can be so much more creative and there are heaps of restaurants around.

I go through anxiety and depression but other then that I feel healthy. I try to watch what I eat and I exercise with our Wii system. DO you take vitamins and minerals? I take fish oil tabs, garlic pills, I drink aloe juice from GNC, I take a lot of natural stuff to keep me built up. Vitamin C is good for you to. Eating lots of vegetables, fruits, chicken, turkey and fish are good for you. Have you had a full check up by your doctor?

Depression and anxiety can make us very sick and down. Aloe is very good and you can get the flavored ones if you don't want the plain one. But the aloe is very good for the blood. Me and my mom take lots of natural products to help our bodies. I am sorry you lost your father and went through so much. I see why you are getting sick a lot. Everything you are worrying about is depressing you and is wearing your body down. Talk to your doctor to see if he or she can give you a nerve bill to try to help you relax more or you can get something natural at the GNC store to help you relax. Magnesium helps to relax you to. And Chamomile tea can help you relax and sleep better to. I will try and help you the best way I can in what ever you need to help get the stress and depression to calm down.

Do you eat fruits and vegetables? Do you take vitamins? When I was younger I use to weigh anywhere from 100 to 108 lbs and I was always getting sick. Once in my thirty I started to eat the right foods. Now in my fifty I don't eat red meat. I only drink hot tea, Iced green tea, grapefruit juice, pomegranate juice. I eat plenty of veggies and fruits in a day. I don't remember the last time I was sick. In fact my other family members have been sick twice since October and I never got sick. Maybe you need to take a multi vitamin and B12 vitamin. I would go and get yourself checkout if I were you.

Right now I'm taking Women's One Daily with calcium, Iron and Zinc by Equate . I have also used Women's One-A-Day for 50+ years. If you don't eat enough veggies and fruits I would definitely increase it if you can. They say to have at least 3 or 4 of each a day. Good Luck to you.

The human body doesn't always act the way we want it to. despite what we try to do to stay healthy. I'm an example of the opsite.
I have a laundry list of health problems. yet, for the most part I'm fairly healthy. I don't get sick all that often and yet my health problems suggest I should be getting sick regurally.
I think its just your body. You are more prone to getting sick. One thing I do to lesson illness drink orange juice a little bit every day. Eat a bit more fruit if you can.
This won't prevent air born illnessses, but it should lesson the impact and help you recover faster.

Well one thing that many people don't know that it could be your shampoo, soap, and toothpaste.. Toothpaste for example (atleast the non-organic ones) all have a chemical called fluoride (often sodium-fluoride) which actually has been linked to many cerebral problems (in other words it can make you stupid). There are tons of chemicals in shampoos that can also affect you. Depending on the brand, most soaps aren't exactly harmful, however the human body is designed to be exposed to dirt and other bacterias on occasion so that it can build up anti-bodys/immunities to many diseases.

Even though I eat healthy and try to get some exercise I was not feeling healthy. I started taking Advocare products about a month ago and can't believe the difference it has made in my life. Getting good nutrition into my body with the Advocare vitamins has helped me lose 10 pounds(in 6 days!), have more energy and feel my best.

I am eating healthier and exercising regularly. I need to lose some more weight to get to a healthy b.m.i. I do feel a lot better now that I have lost some of the extra weight, but more weight loss would really make a difference.

It could be you are not getting all the nutrients you need in your diet. Avoiding junk food is good, but you also need to make sure you get a good balance of all foods in your diet, lots of fruits and vegetables especially. No I don't think vegetarian will help you, I don't believe in avoiding any food group. You also do need to have some fat in your diet as well. I actually feel very healthy these days, I work out, and I am eating really well, but I also allow myself a treat everyday.

When I was younger, it always seemed like I was the only one in my family who ever got ill or had to spend time in hospital
However, I do feel much healthier now, and I try to eat as well as I can to maintain that wonderful feeling

then it's only one part you are missing, that's your mind.
it's not going any better if you have a sick mind, i mean, you are always feel worry, sad, alone, etc.
even when your body is sick but if your mind is health then you'll feel healthy.
and those whose healthy mind can be seen from their face, they are look glowing.

Hi I am 5'5" and I weigh in at 186. I get sick alot but it has nothing to do with your weight or your height. I don't have a spleen so my body can't store antibodies for common sicknesses like cold or flu, even pneumonia. Stress and anxiety will hamper your immune system and will make you sick just like if you started feeling run down. First thing you need to have a physical done by your doctor. Have your thyroid checked that is one reason that most people feel tired or under the weather. Another thing is to not always follow a low fat diet because there are fats that your body needs to keep it healthy. I would recommend that if you are worried about your eating speak with the nutritionist at your local health facility and get on the right track about your health. I now follow a diabetic diet even though I am not diabetic because it is based on the food glycemix index and since I started on it I have lost over 10 pounds and feel relatively healthy and have gotten sick less than before I started.
