Mine is figure skating. But I have fallen for curling. I know all my hockey friends are shocked that I didn't say hockey . Well I only like olympic hockey. It doesn't have the roughness of the NHL and I miss it. Anyway I love curling . It is the sport I have been waiting to see. It is so intriguing. What is your favorite ?

My favorite is still hockey, it's not the same game I know but it's a chance to see so many of my favorite players at the same time, and see guys that usually knock each other around using their skills together. Pav playing on the same side as ovie..both of them using their skills together, when else will I ever see that?

It is sorta like pool where you are standing on the table. You have to think 2 or 3 moves ahead like chess.

i have nothing against curling, but i tried to watch that today to kill some time before the hockey started and for me it is just too long they need to pick up the pace a little bit for me to watch it. all the strategy and that is nice, but for me as a viewer it needs to move a little quicker or they need to have less stones per end i think that is what they called it the announcer tried to compare it to innings in baseball, which is a good way to try to relate it to the casual viewer. i don't really understand how the scoring works in that one, but it just seems like they are both trying to knock the other out all the time, which i think would be more dramatic if they had less turns to do it in and would make it take a lot less time, which would make it more interesting to me as the casual viewer. as I'm sure you could guess my favorite is the hockey i have not watched a lot of the events, because i was waiting for my favorite to start that is when i start getting interested in the games when the hockey starts and then that will carry my interest till the end of the olympics, and i will watch some of the other events like the figure skating that is pure artistry in action, and i am amazed that more of them don't fall as high up as they get doing the jumps. it is impressive especially when they have the pairs and they basically are throwing their partners through the air. team USA won their first game 3-1 so i don't know what to think, but i guess we will see when they play Canada this weekend how good they are, since the swiss team beat Canada the last winter games and Canada is under a tremendous amount of pressure to win it this year, since it is their national sport. my favorite nhl team's goalie is the starter for team USA so i hope he can at the least keep us in the games. i don't expect us to win a medal, but i'm sure we will surprise some team along the way and it will be a great tournament.

Curling is suppose to be this long and it is suppose to have so many stones thrown. It is like a huge chess match.

i think that is one of those sports it would probably be more fun to participate in then to watch on television. in that way i would probably be able to better appreciate the sport if i had actually tried to play it.

Same. Couldn't beat the fun watching olympic hockey anytime. It's just something unique about the game, and especially during Olympics too..

I have always like the figure skating in the Olympics. Every time the Olympics is on that is what I watch. I think it takes a lot of talent to do what they do and very strong ankles and legs to do that. I always liked to watch the gymnastics to. I have always watched that even when I was a kid.

My favorite is the figure skating too. I find the other sports so scary. My heart is in my stomach as I'm watching. The snowboarder yesterday were so exciting but also so scary to watch. Even the figure skating when they are thrown in the air to do a twirl and they end up falling. OMG I can't imagine what that feels like for them. Besides making a mistake but hurting your body.

Curling is the most boring of all winter sports. What on earth do you find good about an Olympic event a pregnant lady can perform? Hockey is fast and exciting.

NHl hockey is the best sport on the planet. Curling is precise as chess. True, it isn't a contact sport but I find it intriguing.

My husband and I really like figure skating, and things like that. We are not interested in a lot of "loud" sports, we like something nice with great music in the background. :)

I love figure skating. I wish I could skate as well as them and be able to do all of the tricks and whatnot. When I was younger I use to love ice skating, sometimes makes me wish tha I had taken lessons when I was younger...

Personally I love the men and woman's snow boarding, mostly the half pipe, but the courses as well. I also really enjoy watching the hockey teams as well although not nearly as much as the snow boarding. I have actually started watching the curling this year as well, and while it might not be as exciting, I guess it is okay to watch, as long as snow boarding isn't on,LOL.

Hi Sarah. You already know that I love figure skating (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) Oh how I love how they twirl in their pads and sticks... oops sorry! I think I would love to do curling. I'm fairly good in bowling and somehow they look similar. And I think you don't have to be extra fit to play it. That's mostly why I like it. But I just couldn't figure out how they do the scoring.

They are trying to get as many stones as close as you can get to the smallest , center circle as possible. But you can't just aim for it all the time because your opponent can take out your stones. It is like chess with all the moves you must think about Before moving. It is like bowlingin a way because of the " Throwing " of the stones And it is like pool because of the possiblity of a bank shot.

For some reason I like downhill skiing. It gives me a thrill to watch them swoosh past with ultra high speed. Especially when women do it :)
