Have you ever maxed out your credit card?

I have maxed out one of mine about 10 yrs ago and I was embarrassed because I was paying for the dinner me and my friends had for my birthday. Good thing I had enough cash. NEVER again I told myself so to this day I pay my credit card on time and in full. I don't even want to pay just the minimum...i pay in full. I guess that's how embarrassed I was. LOL plus I want to build a good credit for myself. I might need it someday sooo...gotta watch my shopping impulses. lol How about you? Have you maxed out one or more of your credit cards? If so, how?
