Distilled bottled water is not sterilize and certified sterile. While distillation eliminates impurities from water, the process does not ensure sterility of the end product. To qualify as sterilized bottled water, manufacturers must comply with strict regulatory standards. As with other ordinary bottle waters such as spring and mineral, distilled bottle water should be boiled prior to infant use to ensure sterility.

Okay that was completely random. You put in some information yes, but I think you left out the most important thing. Distilled water is water where oxygen is removed from the product. Its often used in oxygen machines and other products. I know this because we had to get distilled water when my parents were on oxygen.

Sterilization is a process that kills all forms of bacterial, viral, protozoal, and parasitic microorganisms. Water can be sterilized by boiling, however, proper care must be taken to ensure that boiled water is not contaminated during cooling and transferring to other containers. All containers that come in contact with boiled water should be sterilized to avoid contamination.
When it comes to bottled water is recommended for direct use by infants. Bottled water that is not sterilized - such as - spring, mineral, an distilled - should be boiled and cooled prior to infant use..
