What's your secret to a "quick and easy" meal?

Often, I find that I end up having to rush in a meal, or not eat it at all. If I want to prepare a breakfast/lunch/dinner that makes everyone happy, it would take me at least an hour (not to mention the--urgh--clean-up). As well, we all know that frozen foods and microwavable meals are not the best for our health. I searched high and low for meals that were easy to prepare, and makes everyone happy. One thing I recently discovered was frozen veggies. They can be steamed in 10 minutes or so, and if I pair them with a bowl of leftover rice...voila! To add to that, frozen flavoured eel (yes, eel) can be one of the best additions to a meal. Simply cut open the bag, chop a few pieces, place it on precooked rice, and pop it in the microwave for 1 to 2 minutes. Not only do we add healthy omega-3 fatty acids to our meal, the wonderful flavouring makes the rice a delight to eat! So, I was wondering what are some quick meals you like to whip up in a hurry? Feel free to share them!

Just toss in some veggiees, fish balls, tofu, seaweed and spoonful of miso from supermarket.
