Do You Think Guns or any Type of Weapon Should Be Allowed in Churches?

I am all for the Second Amendment. Granted, there was an incident a couple of years ago where a member of a church was gunned down because of his work with abortion clinics. Should church members be allowed to carry guns to protect themselves and their fellow members? My concern is that many people who own guns believe that it is shoot first and ask questions later. This is not one of the best policies because many people who have killed others in self-defense did not really need to use a gun. There were other means available. Guns should be the last resort as it is with police officers. That is why they have batons, tasers and pepper or oc spray. The gun is something that should be used as a last resort not the first. Give me your thoughts.
