bible may seem boring to read cause they are old but one thing for sure is that you'll get closer to the Lord upon learning those principles that would change you a better person, it will mold you along your life while reading it and the more wisdom you get the more you will be refine, also the fact that the bible will try to tell how important life is and also the fact that it is true and it will remain true, another thing is the bible will teach you how to become like Christ and guide to your life to go back to the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ our master, Savior and Redeemer. While reading newspaper will lead you some untruths of all those news that happen around the world or in your neighborhood. we may get some information on the news for a few percent of truths but never the whole truths cause some of them were cannot unveiled due to some limitations of the reporter or some of them they won't allow it or also their boss won't allow to do so. the difference between the two of this thing is that the Bible give us some precaution and warning what might happen to the world but the newspapers revealed whats happening to the world. some insights of the bible said that there would be famine, earthquakes, pestilences and other major nature calamities and to some truths of it happening right now in the different aspect of the world. it is not enough only to read the bible but to read, ponder and pray for us to understand it, it may take time to understand, courage to pursue and knowledge to get wisdom but the newspaper will tell you that all you read was the past and nothing you can do. of all this its the information we get from different aspects but if i would choose between the two i would choose the bible rather than the newspaper. how about you, which do you prefer to read? Bible or Newspaper?

I prefer reading the newspaper because I like to be up-to-date on current affairs and know what is going on in the world around me (even if the media do often put their own spin on things sometimes).
Also, the Bible stays the same, so you're reading the same thing, whereas a newspaper is different each and every day

I spend 12 hours a day in my work place and I got my mind in all of the things at work but my husband and I always find time to read the bible or read the scriptures in one day. We usually read for 15 minutes and take time to ponder the words in the scriptures. Its a good way for me and my husband to have during our bonding time.

Before, I didn't know and understand the Bible and the thought of reading about it makes me tired, and yeah I often read Newspaper every day early in the morning. Until I become Christian and know Christ that's the greatest miracle happens in my life. So I learn to love reading the Bible before I go to bed and when I wake up early in the morning. And I rarely read the newspaper. And I love it, it gives me a sense of peace and love I've never experienced before. For me Bible is the word of God, if you read it to understand and not just to know then you will find it as something that will gives you life. That's what I thought and that's what I experienced. Anyway, welcome to mytlot and hope you'll enjoy your stay. It's fun being here!

Bible. its our user's manual on how our we to live our lives. plus, i just get frustrated, annoyed with newspapers. newspapers should change its name to badpapers, coz seems that only bad things are written
