storing ordinary data will not slow your system..storing infected data will surely make your PC crawl..viruses and worm eat up a bunch of memory...sometimes they eat up all remaining memory causing your PC to hang up..

System speed can slow for a number of reasons. Suggesting that the system is free of viruses or trojans, no hardware or software conflicts, a system can slow by storing more data in C: if there is not enough room for your operating system to run. Depending on what operating system is being run, some need more free space on the hard drive to run efficiently, than others need. It is important to always have enough free space on your hard drive so that your operating system can function properly. With your operating system, there is likely some reference to this. If not, search the internet for your particular OS.

No Storing Data Will Not Slow the system speed Much., But Adding Software with Launching while startup will make your system speed low., we can reduce it by cleaning up the unwanted registry files and temporary internet files and cookies.. better choice is to use an uninstaller while uninstalling any software and using cc-cleaner will help us solve this problem. have a nice day dude
