I was watching tv today and it was on the news that someone won the lottery jackpot of 127 M! I was thinking this person is really blessed! Then It hit me what if I was the one who won the pot money what would I do with it?
Here are the things I wanna do with my money:
1. build an investment by that i mean put up several business that would increase my new found wealth. something like social entrepreneurship where you get to help the community not just by giving them jobs but creating an opportunity for learning as well.
2. place a portion of the money in time deposit and some in interest earning accounts.
3. buy my own place so I get out of my parents'.
4. tithe the 10 percent to churches.
5. build a retirement community that caters to both paying and non paying old folks.
6. support notable charities locally and internationally.
7. create a shelter for battered women and children and also a help hotline where people needing help, encouragement, prayers and advise could ask for help.
I know the list could go on but this is my priority list. And here's hoping that I won't change anything in the way i work and who I am.What about you what would you do?

Just like the second respondent said, I think it's impossible for me to win 100M in my lifetime. But in case it would happen:
1) I would buy myself a nice house and throw a party to celebrate my winning (although it would be a reasonable party, I wouldn't invite U2 to sing for me and Jennifer Lopez as a dancer and stuff, no senseless waste of money.)
2) I would establish my own business, just like you, so I won't run out of money until the end of my life
3) I would do a research on most critical problems in my country and send a large sum to charities that deal with these issues.
4) I would keep the rest of the sum on my bank account, perhaps in time deposit or something
I definitely wouldn't waste my money on stupid things like buying 5 tonnes of ice cream and then going snowboarding inside it.

hummm.... this is a good question. if i won the lottery i would buy me and my children a house. im tired of renting a small apartment. i would pay the house off, that way i wouldn't worry about payments. i would also buy a new car. mine isn't that old, however it would be nice to have another one. the rest of the money would go into savings, to build interist.

I don't even dream of winning a lottery of 100M in my lifetime.I tried a few times to win only a few lakhs in online lotteries and each time I failed miserably.Every time I was denied I tried my luck more with the intention that some day I will be able to break the deadlock. It so happenned that I started to spend a major part of my earning buying lottery tickets and eagerly waited for the result to come out hoping that it will be in my favour and each time I am disappointed. So in such a case if I manage to win a lottery of 100M I will be mad on hearing that news and the very next thing that I will do is spend the amount for my treatment.
